Keep Screaming at Your NJ Assembly Members In Advance Of Thursday’s Gun Ban Floor Vote

• Ammoland

Trenton, NJ --(Ammoland.com)- On Thursday, February 21 2013, beginning at 1:00 pm, the New Jersey Assembly is scheduled to have a full floor vote on all of the anti-gun legislation that was rammed through last week’s Assembly Law & Public Safety Committee meeting.

Please continue to contact both of your Assembly members in anticipation of this vote, and urge them to oppose all anti-gun legislation. Legislator contact information is available here.

While the floor vote is open to the public and you are invited to attend, this is not a public hearing and members of the public will not have an opportunity to testify. In deciding whether to attend, consider this an “optional” event where gun owner attendance will be noted but will not be critical to the outcome. Accordingly, ANJRPC is not organizing buses for Thursday’s Assembly voting session.

However, please plan on attending at least one, and possibly two, critical legislative events that we are anticipating in the New Jersey Senate in the month of March, for which bus transportation will be available. We do not yet have confirmed dates for these events, and will issue alerts with that information when we have it.

Please note that following last week’s Assembly Law & Public Safety Committee meeting, several of the 24 bills that were rammed through the committee have been amended. We have accordingly updated our legislative analysis of the pending bills – please take a moment to scan through the updated analysis so you have the most current information available.
