Hacker group Anonymous says it will ‘blockade’ Obama’s SOTU speech from Internet as protest

• nydailynews.com
The hacker group Anonymous posted a statement online saying they would block Obama’s SOTU speech online, stating: “We reject the State of the Union. We reject the authority of the President to sign arbitrary orders and bring irresponsible and damaging controls to the Internet.” So if you want to catch the President’s speech, you may have to watch it on TV.

If an organization of outlaw hackers has their way, interested citizens won't be able to watch Tuesday night's State of the Union address online.

The hacker group Anonymous is calling on its supporters to help "form a virtual blockade between Capitol Hill and the Internet" when President Obama delivers his annual congressional address Tuesday night.
