Let's look at a nation like Botswana, that has never won an Olympic medal of any kind when we root for the pro athletes in the Olympic games. Is it fair? No, it smacks of sports imperialism. So try something different this Olympics: Root for US teams where we are not sure to medal and leave the Dream Team and Serena Williams be! Root for nations to medal that have never won!

I think it would be interesting if athletes just showed up and left their flags/countries behind...and just did my favorite sports such as the synchronized swimming, 20K/50K walk race, pole vaulting, shot put, frisbee toss, ping pong, shooting guns, bows and arrows, sword fighting...wow I can't wait...and to hear my favorite commentator Bob Costas explain it all to me...
