Ron Paul to hold town halls at Texas colleges

Ron Paul begins a three-day campaign swing in his home state of Texas tomorrow, as he continues to make his case for the presidency on large college campuses.

The Texas congressman announced he'll hold town hall meetings at the University of Texas at Austin, UT-El Paso and the University of Houston and said in a tweet that he's "in it to win it."

Paul also will once again air a TV ad proclaiming himself the "big bold Texan" in the GOP field, which his campaign says will be the first of several spots to run in the Lone Star state ahead of the May 29 primary.

Paul hasn't been deterred by Mitt Romney's huge lead in the delegates needed for the GOP nomination or that the former Massachusetts governor has effectively turned his sights on President Obama and the general election.
