The ugly tale goes on. If you haven't heard: Current TV fired Keith Olbermann last week for disloyalty and breach of contract. He filed a lawsuit charging Al Gore et al were dilettantes who sabotaged his show and were so dysfunctional they couldn't even keep the lights on and besides they owe him up to $70 million. Now they've responded in kind, saying Olbermann's "false and malicious" suit is one more instance of his well-established history of "pounding the table." Etc. Whether you loved or couldn't abide Olbermann's ego and rants, he was a rare progressive voice on the mainstream air waves, now gone.
