Guns are dangerous? Then why is hunting safer for you than golf? (And most other sports)

It's not just in the hunting fields that firearms are being used safely either. The most recent data (2008) from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that firearms constitute just 1/2 of 1 percent of all unintentional fatalities in the United States, including those in the home,.

Guns are only dangerous to those who are around the fools who misuse them: mostly a gaggle of limp-dicked, homo-phobic, male wannabes, who believe that owning or possessing a firearm somehow "makes them a man": this is the same mind-set and likely the same crowd that thinks owning a guitar or football jersey makes them a rock star quarterback. (If someone wants to really put their life on the line, all they have to do is anything that brings an armed cop to the scene - traffic stops are particularly good for this.)

The hooplaphobia surrounding firearms is just another well-imbued, media and government-sponsored urban mythology. The fact is that the powermongering misfits  who are hell-bent on controlling all of us in every facet of our lives don't want anyone to be able to defend themselves:  As a matter of fact, if (when) firearms are made illegal, those who still posses them will become instant federal - armed - criminals, subject to arrest, at best, and instant sanction (death) at worst. Another fun fact is that it isn't a cliche that "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns." Many of those "outlaws" will also have badges!

I'd rather see the cowards who won't defend themselves or their loved ones be registered than to have to ask permission from the very "people" who don't care if I am killed or not. (Ask yourself exactly why you should have to be "registered" or in any way "licensed" to own or possess the means for defending your life, particularly when those "authorities", who claim to protect you, don't and won't. Next, if someone is trying to murder you, what the hell difference does it make if you shoot the bastard or run him over with your car?)

The point is, you have a RIGHT to defend your life, whether some gang of government thugs wants you to or not! If you don't think so, or choose not to, that's your business. In the meantime, you don't have any right of any sort to tell me I have to be a dead coward!
