Fox News Channel and the South Carolina Republican Party announced that they will present two GOP primary debates, the first of which will air next May.

“Fox News looks forward to presenting these key debates with the South Carolina Republican Party and giving the contenders an open forum to present their views at this critically important time in the country’s history,” said FNC senior VP Michael Clemente in a statement.

The news comes just a day after CNN announced it would be hosting a GOP primary debate next June.
