Former CNN host Rick Sanchez has reportedly apologized to comedian Jon Stewart for calling him a "bigot" during a radio program where he appeared to claim that Jews run much of the media.

The revelation was made by Suzanne Sanchez, Rick's wife, who took to Facebook to defend her husband.

"Rick apologized to jon stewart today," she wrote. "They had a good talk. jon was gracious and called rick, 'thin-skinned.'"

"His exhaustion from working 14 hr days for 2 mo. straight, caused him to mangle his thought process inartfully," Mrs. Sanchez wrote. "he got caught up in the banter and deeply apologizes to anyone who was offended by his unintended comments."
