Sleep soundly, America. The Obama administration has secured its first conviction in its revamped military tribunals. Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud al-Qosi — a Sudanese national who for years threatened U.S. citizens by, among other things, cooking for al-Qaeda jefe Osama bin Laden — has pleaded guilty to conspiracy and to providing material support for terrorism.

Yeah, but the world won't be safe until we beat and drown a confession or two out of his tailor. Crimes against fashion-sense are unacceptable in this post 9-11 world, don't you know. Beating and water-boarding...I never expected the day would come when a legal "slam dunk" would become such literal term.
