Nevada election officials
have banned wearing chicken suits
at polling places because of their "inappropriate" political message.
The problem started in April, when Harry Reid's potential Republican
challenger Sue Lowden infamously
suggested
that people barter for health care with chickens like "our
grandparents" who "would bring a chicken to the doctor" as payment.
Mocking her remarks, Reid supporters
began to wear the avian costumes at Lowden events.
