On Friday February 5th, a group called Don't Tax Our Food filed the required paperwork to to refer back to the Phoenix City Council a  food tax adopted by a majority of the council. A little know fact is that the ordinance does not limit the food tax to 2% as reported by the Arizona Republic. It can be raised at any time by the council.
