Robert Novak Dead; Charles Goyette Tribute
• Charles Goyette blogI had been discussing Novak's Valerie Plame column in which he had described her as a "CIA operative," on The Charles Goyette Show since its first appearance in July. I felt that the implications of Novak's column were serious - that it had the fingerprints of the Bush administration attempting to discredit Joe Wilson, a critic of the Iraq war - and that it was not getting the kind of media attention it deserved -- not unlike the Downing Street memos.
