Bottom line is 6 days before the election I was permanently banned from Facebook. I was disappeared. Everything I ever posted is wiped clean. My opponent is the current chief of police and brags about his FBI training and I think he had a hand in this. 1. MIKE ROTH BANNED FROM FACEBOOK - FIRST INTERVIEW - LPCN EXCLUSIVE - Oct 29, 2020

[LA PAZ COUNTY, AZ] – This morning we learned that local candidate for La Paz County Sheriff, Mike Roth, received a permanent ban from Facebook. The ban goes beyond his personal account to include his official Campaign Page. Roth says that he got no notice or specific explanation, and that upon appealing, he was told the ban would be permanent.

Roth also says that the last time Facebook took any administrative action with his account was a year and a half ago. Since then there have been no issues, warnings, or other actions that would indicate that Facebook had an issue with Roth's account or messages.

This all comes the morning after the head of Facebook, Mark Zuckerburg, testified in defense of Facebook, over accusations of election interference via biased content and account manipulation. You can bet they'd do the same thing to Trump if they thought they could get away with it.

Constitution-Based Law: No more unconstitutional checkpoints, seizures or searches.

I'll Build Stronger Community Relations: I'll deputize all qualified citizens and create a Civilian Review Board that oversees officer complaints.

I'll Be The Most Affordable Sheriff In La Paz County: I'll decline the state's pension plan, and in my last year in office, I'll work for donations.

Healthy Sheriff's Department: I'll offer healthy lunches for all on-the-clock employees, as well as fitness, yoga, acupuncture, and meditation sessions for the entire department.

James Clavell wrote this story in 1963.  I'm sure he had no idea how our country would be today.  

Plot summary - from wikipedia
The story takes place in an unnamed school classroom in the United States, in the aftermath of a war between the US and an unnamed country. It is implied that America has been defeated and occupied. The story opens with the previous teacher leaving the classroom, having been removed from her position and replaced with an agent of the foreign power. The new teacher has been trained in propaganda techniques, and is responsible for re-educating the children to be supportive of their occupiers. During the course of the story, the children are persuaded to abandon their religion and national loyalty. Framing the story is the fact that, while the children have ritually recited a 'Pledge of Allegiance' every morning, none know what it actually means. The teacher is relentlessly positive about the change, offering the children candy, songs and praise. When asked if the war was won or lost, she responds only that "we won", implying that everyone would benefit from the conquest.[5]
