I have been fighting bad legislation in the Arizona State Legislature with the fantastic Arizona Campaign for Liberty Team since 2010. We currently have a bill to ban photo radar and red light cameras statewide that has passed the House and should be voted on in the Senate in March.
I am the Director of PR and Content at Knoodle Advertising (knoodle.com) and live in Phoenix with my daughter Liberty.

Quick update: HB2014 is headed to governor's desk after some confusion with the Senate floor vote yesterday, it was brought back today under reconsideration for a second vote and passed 16-13. Kate Brophy McGee and David Farnsworth both changed their votes from No to Yes in today's vote. Farnsworth motioned for reconsideration after the vote yesterday.
No word yet on what Ducey plans to do.

After failing to pass earlier this week, Arizona's Sound Money bill (H.B. 2014) was brought back to Senate floor and passed by a vote of 16-13 yesterday. Please call Governor Doug Ducey at 602-542-4331, and tell him to sign H.B. 2014 right away..

After failing to pass earlier this week, Arizona's Sound Money bill (H.B. 2014) was brought back to the Senate floor and passed by a vote of 16-13 yesterday.
This victory would not have happened without you!
Now, H.B. 2014 is sitting on the governor's desk, and I need your help one more time to ensure he signs the bill into law.
Please call Governor Doug Ducey at 602-542-4331, and tell him to sign H.B. 2014 right away..
H.B. 2014 takes a major step toward ending the Federal Reserve's monopoly on money. It does so by recognizing gold, silver, and other precious metals as "legal tender."
By allowing the people of Arizona to use something other than Fed-created fiat currency, H.B. 2014 will help Arizonans survive the next time the market corrects.
This issue is so important, Campaign for Liberty Chairman Ron Paul testified in favor of the bill!
Passing H.B. 2014 will make Arizona more attractive to the growing number of people seeking alternatives to fiat money. . .
It will ensure you can protect yourself from the reckless actions of Congress and the Federal Reserve.
And it will attract new investments and jobs to Arizona.
Not only that but the tax exemption allows you to keep more of your hard-earned money.
Since money itself is not taxed, it only stands to reason you should not be taxed when your gold or silver "increase" in value. Precious metals can help protect you against the continued devaluation of Federal Reserve Notes (also known as "dollars").
The "increase" you see in the value of your gold or silver is actually a result of the Federal Reserve printing more dollars.
This flood of new dollars in the marketplace causes a decline in the purchasing power of the dollar, or "inflation."
While at times of serious inflation it appears your gold is worth more money, it still has the same purchasing power as it did before.
Yet, Arizona currently considers that "increase" a capital gain, and they make you pay more in taxes as a result.
Heather, you should not be punished for choosing to invest in one currency (precious metals) over another (dollar bills).
This unjust taxation on real money must end!

PHRANQ BIO - Dr. Phranq Tamburri is a naturopathic physician specializing in men's health with a sub-specialty in prostate cancer. In tandem to these fields, Dr. Tamburri treats male hormone deficiency, low energy, and sexual performance. Although naturopathic medicine is a specialty in itself, Dr. Tamburri has garnered recognition as an expert in the field of prostate cancer assessment, diagnosis, and treatment; each of the preceding from a balanced natural and allopathic perspective. His training in this area has been varied and wide in scope.
