It starts with a wan zoo baboon. She looks like I'd feel if I was pressed up against the glass of my enclosure, watching another species gawk at me. Which is to say, overwhelmingly sad and tired. Despondent. Suicidal even.
Thousands of kids have toddled up to this baboon to smack their sticky palms against the glass, level with her face. She'd move away from this spot, but it's the only real shade in the afternoon. She's made her peace with the tourist hordes out of necessity. She expects nothing, so she's never disappointed. She gives fewer fucks than any creature I've ever seen.
And then. Some jackball grandpa in a neon white cap shows her a card, and with a flourish, the card is gone. Wan Baboon loses it. Her eyebrows have leapt up before she can stop them, she is incredulous, and outraged. It's magic—and, you know, it's magic.

The following is a combined effort in the search for Truth, because Truth has been vanquished in America by the police state and the press, now all under political control of the conglomerate mafia cartel.
New evidence is constantly being leveraged out in the murder of LaVoy Finicum, and it begins in a tale as all tales are told, in follow the money.
The cartel did indeed murder LaVoy Finicum, and the leads in this point to a Jade Helm operation in how the conglomerates are now utilizing the United Nations inside of America to murder her Citizens and to confiscate their lands. Before any of you roll your eyes in Alex Jones overload of having heard all of this before, we have official documents in the Governor of Oregon's emails, in which an Oregon State Trooper states that Grant County Oregon with Sheriff Palmer is not a United Nations county, while Harney County is under United Nations control.
Where this all begins is the Hammond Ranch and other Western Ranchers coming under the terrorism of the BLM and US Fish and Wildlife, in criminalizing Americans and stealing their lands. It is what is under those lands which this is all about. I know some of you have heard about the uranium under those lands, which is being turned over to Russia in their share of the market, but something far more sinister is taking place in Oregon on the ground LaVoy Finicum's blood was spilled.
It ties into this blog's exclusive in matter anti matter, that American oil resources are being turned over from refinement to oil in North Dakota to the Saudi Muslims to manage. This sounds odd in not making any sense in turning American energy in uranium and oil over to foreigners, who are backed by image Obama and Hillary Clinton, in her foundation, but it begins to make more sense when you understand that under the greater part of Idaho and Oregon, on these siege lands, lays a far greater power source than North Dakota oil or Uranium, and that resource is Thorium.
There is said to be over 50 TRILLION DOLLARS in Thorium under those lands, and it is why the United Nations, the Obama regime, Hillary Clinton and the GOPliters like Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz are all arrayed against Donald Trump for President, because New World Order mogul, Bill Gates of Microsoft, who helped steal part of the Iowa elections for his man, Marco Rubio, has an investment energy firm named TerraPower, and they are in the process of creating a nuclear power plant based upon Thorium, because Thorium is unlike Uranium, in Thorium will burn down to a non radioactive ash.

Reality" Edited in Real Time: New Tech Shows Why You Can't Trust Anything You See on the News
Talk about wag the dog. I'm not even sure what to write for a description of the video you are about to watch.

So-called "reality" can be edited in real-time.
It's the matrix.
The project is a joint effort in progress between Stanford, the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, and the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. According to the project's abstract, via Stanford University:
We present a novel approach for real-time facial reenactment of a monocular target video sequence (e.g., Youtube video). The source sequence is also a monocular video stream, captured live with a commodity webcam. Our goal is to animate the facial expressions of the target video by a source actor and re-render the manipulated output video in a photo-realistic fashion. To this end, we first address the under-constrained problem of facial identity recovery from monocular video by non-rigid model-based bundling. At run time, we track facial expressions of both source and target video using a dense photometric consistency measure. Reenactment is then achieved by fast and efficient deformation transfer between source and target. The mouth interior that best matches the re-targeted expression is retrieved from the target sequence and warped to produce an accurate fit. Finally, we convincingly re-render the synthesized target face on top of the corresponding video stream such that it seamlessly blends with the real-world illumination.We demonstrate our method in a live setup, where Youtube videos are reenacted in real time.

Even in the relatively low-res clips we're shown, there's an uncanny valley effect of something being not quite right. But hot damn is it impressive (and, well, more than a little spooky) even in this early stage.

Filters off. Today I rant.
Humanity has been progressing steadily over millennia. The terrorist empires of the ancient world are gone. Chattel slavery, a filthy curse upon our species since several thousand years BC, was obliterated in Europe a thousand years ago and remains in only a few barbaric corners. Humanity is healthier and better fed than ever in history, and by a huge margin. We have vast knowledge at our fingertips and technology that would have been considered magic not too long ago.
(People fixated on darkness will object to my itemization of humanity's progress, but everything I've written is indisputably true.)
My point is this, and if I could write it in giant, flaming letters, I would:
Humanity is ready to break out and fly.
"No, we're not!" scream a hundred objections. "War machines, surveillance, stupidity, terror, obedient sheeple, psychopaths in power!"
And yes, I understand. But fixating on evil gets us nowhere. We have to lift up our eyes, see the path before us, take the millstones off our necks, and move. And that means leaving our precious complaints behind.
If you'd prefer to stand in place and complain, that's your choice. I'll probably agree with most of your complaints, but I won't join in your chorus, because complaining doesn't move me forward. And I want to move forward. I'm sick of watching a big, rigged game in which the debased triumph and the good stand around moaning.
I'm done with it. I give no consent. I offer zero respect. I've turned my back to it.
Have you ever considered the attitudes of the first Christians, stuck inside the Roman Empire? "We are not of this world," they said. "We are strangers and pilgrims on Earth," they said. They believed all the kingdoms of the world were evil and acted accordingly… and they were not wrong.
The Nexus of Coercion
Is coercion the font of righteousness?
Is intimidation superior to reason?
Is permanent menace the source of health and prosperity?
Think carefully, because if you maintain that the state is good, necessary, or God ordained, you believe precisely these things. Why? Because the state, like it or not, is the nexus of coercion in this world.
I know you were taught that the state protected you from coercion, but that was simply a lie. A big, fat lie… as in "demonstrably false." (Not that reason has ever been much of a basis for idolizing the state.)
Rudolph Rummel documented 262 million "deaths by government" in the 20th century alone. Nothing else comes remotely close to that toll – not mass murderers, not petty thugs, not drug gangs, not all of them put together.
And where does the coercion in your life come from?
Does your neighbor demand that you hand over half your income or he'll lock you in a cage?
Does your electrician force you off the road, demand your documents and issue you fines?
Does the grocer forbid you from working without a hugely expensive certificate?
The conclusion here is obvious and simple: The state is the nexus of coercion upon Earth. It's easy to see that this is true; we've just been trained to look away.
And Coercion…
Coercion is a blight upon humanity. The theory of coercion being our savior – as in "we need a monopoly on coercion to save you from coercion" – is simply ludicrous. No mind that hadn't been preprogrammed to it would accept it.
It might be fair to say that medicine saves us. But did organized coercion create medicine? Did it teach us to grow food or build cars? Did it discover the laws of physics?
Of course not. Coercion takes, by manipulation, fraud, and force.
None of this is complex. Understanding it requires no genius. It's simple and obvious.
Our Path Forward
The path forward is almost equally obvious: a voluntary society, a society of consent.
And there is no reason not to reorganize ourselves into a society of consent. It would involve the usual human problems, of course, but they exist in coercive society in even greater measure. The real problem is that organized coercion forbids it.
We are violently prevented from experimenting with new ways of life. We are threatened with any number of punishments if we stray from the pattern that is dictated to us.
These monopolies of coercion always promise "freedom," but their "freedom" applies only if you stay inside their limits. If you want to live differently, you are to be hammered down.
That's why I call this a millstone. It forbids us from living any other way. It forbids adaptation. It forbids experiment. It forbids progress.
The worst part, however, is this: Organized coercion demands that we warp our minds and bludgeon our judgment, so we can praise it as the true and great savior of mankind.
So…
Our situation is this:
Humanity has been crawling into the future with millstones around their necks. The millstones are useless and debilitating, but they've been part of their lives so long that most people can't conceive of removing them. But if ever they do remove them, they'll be ready to fly.
Is organized coercion the only problem we face? Of course not. Our primary problems are internal… the kind that stop us from pulling the stones off our necks.

All Newsbud reports and multimedia productions will be entirely independent and nonpartisan and will be developed, written, produced, and vetted by our staff, who will be paid with funding from the public.
Except for special forums and roundtable discussions, all Newsbud contents will be free to the public. For those who want access to all of the site's contents, the subscription fee will be $12 per year. A monthly payment option of $2 per month ($24 per year) will also be available.
Our objective is to have 50,000 subscribers by the end of year one. Assuming a $12 annual subscription, 50,000 subscribers equates to $550,000 (50,000 X $11 [annual subscription fee minus credit card processing fee]). We'd supplement that amount with two annual fundraising events. Our goal for the end of year two is to expand our subscriber base to 75,000. That would equate to $825,000, which would be enough to support Newsbud's annual operations. Every dollar we receive that exceeds our goal will go to funding further content, expanded program offerings, additional journalists, etc.

First Question: What is the Difference Between Occupy Malheur and a Rainbow Family Gathering?
Before turning to my piece about why it will be such a challenge for anyone involved in the Malheur Occupation to get a fair hearing in what I often refer to as the so-called justice system, there's something else I've got to get off my chest. Although I've been buried with pre-existing work, and now the aftermath of LaVoy Finicum's death, there is something I do have to get off my chest, and it has to do with the hypocrisy and discrimination involved in our Governments' approach to the Malheur Occupation.
To help put this discussion in context, back in April, 2015 I wrote a guest editorial for the Southern Utah Spectrum asking about the difference between how the BLM was treating Cliven Bundy's cattle, versus how they were treating and managing their own wild horses. The piece suggested gross hypocrisy in federal policy and approach.

On Saturday, January 2, 2015, a peaceful protest took place in Burns, Oregon. This protest had been planned for some time as an effort to bring attention to an ongoing legal case involving a local ranching family, the Hammonds. Many people gathered, both from the Burns area, and from around the west, to march in support of Dwight and Steven Hammond, father and son, who have been ordered to return to prison for setting two fires on their own land. Fires that subsequently spread to neighboring Bureau of Land Management property, leading to Dwight and Steve Hammond being prosecuted under the Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996. People came to protest because they believe the Hammonds have already paid the penalty for those fires, and that the Federal government is over-stepping its authority by re-sentencing the men and requiring them to return to prison. They came to protest the use of the Anti-terrorism law in the Hammond's case. They came to protest because they fear the federal government is putting far too many restrictions on access to BLM land for ranchers and others who make use of federally held lands for profit.
The protest rally went as planned, peacefully and respectfully. Afterwards, there was a meeting at the county fairgrounds, where the situation had clearly changed. It was announced that members of outside militia groups had driven to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters, and occupied the buildings. This outside group includes three sons of Cliven Bundy of Nevada, who made national news in April of 2014 for his own stand-off with the BLM over grazing rights in Nevada (1). They appear to have come to Burns, Oregon, in support of the protests for the Hammond family, but after taking over the Malheur Refuge headquarters and setting up for a prolonged, armed stand-off, they have stated much more extensive reasons for their presence. According to an Oregon Live article, they have said that they want ranchers "who have been kicked out of the area" to "come back and reclaim their land, and the wildlife refuge will be shut down forever and the federal government will relinquish such control." (2) Ammon and Ryan Bundy, Cliven Bundy's sons, have stated that "they are not looking to hurt anyone. But they would not rule out violence if police tried to remove them." (3) Ammon Bundy has also said, "we're planning on staying for years, absolutely. This is not a decision we've made at the last minute." They are calling their group "Citizens For Constitutional Freedom" as of today. (4)

In a letter to the country's top law enforcement officials, Gov. Kate Brown pressed for "swift resolution" of the wildlife refuge occupation outside Burns.
Brown also wrote President Obama calling for action "without further delay."
The U.S. Justice Department and the White House did not respond to requests Thursday for comment.
The FBI released a statement Thursday afternoon, saying its response has been "deliberate and measured as we seek a peaceful resolution."
The governor spoke out publicly Wednesday on the need for an end to the takeover that started Jan. 2 and has disrupted life throughout Harney County. Armed protesters holding the headquarters compound of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge are staying put despite calls from the sheriff and community members to leave.
Brown said in one letter that she talked with FBI Director James Comey about the Oregon standoff. The FBI is in charge of investigating and ending the refuge takeover. In a letter to Comey and to Attorney General Loretta Lynch, the governor recounted how every day "tensions are increasing exponentially" in Harney County.

"While it is easy to assume that an occupation in such a remote location does not threaten public safety and does not harm any victims, that perception is far from accurate," the governor wrote.
Adding to community tensions is that "the criminals on the refuge are allowed to travel on and off the premises with little fear of law enforcement contact or interaction," she said.

JOHN DAY, Ore. -
Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer is defending himself on social media as allegations of him turning in the Bundy militia to the FBI continue to grow.
Sheriff Palmer agreed to hold a public meeting in John Day. Two vehicles of refuge occupiers were stopped by FBI agents and Oregon State Police in the late afternoon, and one, driven by Robert Lavoy Finicum, took off and crashed into a snow bank.
The FBI said he jumped out and was reaching toward his coat pocket, holding a 9mm handgun, when he was shot and killed.
Earlier, Finicum said members of the Grant County community were interested in Bundy's message.
A conversation between Palmer and a resident has been shared several times on Facebook.
In the exchange, someone asked Palmer if he had been told earlier about the traffic stop.

3 ISIS Twitter accounts 'trace back to UK govt computers,' claim hackers

At least three Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) supporters' social media accounts are run from IP addresses linked to the British government's Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), a group of hackers has claimed.
The group of teenage computer experts, known as 'VandaSec,' have unearthed details of internet protocol (IP) addresses used by three jihadists to access Twitter accounts used to carry out online recruitment.
The addresses were thought to be based in Saudi Arabia, but upon further inspection they linked back to the DWP's London offices, according to the Daily Mirror.
"Don't you think that's strange?" one of the hackers asked the Daily Mirror.
"We traced these accounts back to London, the home of the British intelligence services," they added.
This revelation has sparked speculation that someone inside the government is running IS-supporting accounts, or they were created by intelligence services to trap wannabe terrorists.
The evidence caused the Cabinet Office to admit to selling IP addresses to two Saudi firms earlier this year. An expert has suggested this is why the IP's are linked to the government.
Following the sale, the IP addresses were used by extremists to spread their message of hate on social media.
The DWP denied owning the IP addresses.
"The government owns millions of unused IP addresses which we are selling to get a good return for hardworking taxpayers," a Cabinet Office spokesperson said.
