Fearing City of Phoenix for speaking out against Government waste.

Today I attended a budget meeting for us the Citizens of Phoenix in our State of Arizona. The meeting was held at South Mountain Community College located at 7050 S 24Th st between 6PM and 8:30PM. I spoke during public comment and was called to speak by City of Phoenix staff due to filling out a Citizen request comment card. I a resident of District 8 spoke in the best interest of the Public good to Redress our local Phoenix Government to expose waste of funds that can be better directed for the citizens. Mr. Michael Johnson of District 8 presided during this budget meeting and I would consider him the chair of the budget board. After my citizen comment the person who is a woman of this community stated publicly aloud a comment directed at me and she said " I hope you have a good pension because due to your comments they may come after you" . The they she was referring to is my employer City of Phoenix. I was also greeted by other City staff off duty many who know me and Citizens present at this meeting who said "I hope you don\'t get fired or you have a job waiting for you for what you said tonight". Gretta Rodgers a community activist who most of you know has also stated this to me to be careful not to lose your job. The City Council has an obligation to harmonious relations ship with its employees and a Union contract that states all employees have the right to be treated fair and impartial to others. I spoke under the Constitution and no one should interfere/infringe to take away my rights as a resident or employee of the City of Phoenix. The citizens expressed at this meeting a concern for my safety and well being in my place of employment. This is sent to keep you folks in the loop who were not able to attend this meeting.
