This is the question you need to ask yourself and then to question what you see, hear and read; "What does it mean to be an American?"

First there is no nationality before you say American.  I will accept the idea of differences do add a spice to life, but I feel the saying and belief of color or nationality or race before saying you are an American tears this nation apart.  In fact both political parties use this difference to separate and conquer at every election.

Second being American is to given the chance at life it is not a blank credit card to a good life.  It means you can make choices, fail, change jobs and become as much as you can be.......  Yes you have heard that saying but it is true...you can become the best your brain and will power drives you.  This also means that some will fail, be poor, not accept education or training...but that is also a choice they make.....

Third is health care....if American business supply good jobs for workers that are willing to work they will have health care.  Already at city, county and state levels there is health care for the poor or out of work...added to this are limits to what people who will not work should receive from a health care system....

Education fights the idea of allowing individuals to use the money, federal and state money if they want to put their children in private or religious schools.  The reason is if you had a choice of where your child\'s money for education went, the best students and the brightest parents would abandon public education.  This would mean the best teachers would go to the private schools and what would be left are the huge numbers of hardly average teachers.  It would also destroy thousands of administrative jobs throwing these people out of work and making them enter a private place of employment.......

Military...we need it.  I am for five million men in the regular armed forces and an equal number in the National Guard.  I would look at the places that military spending is used and cut back on the leadership by half.

Finally...You the American owner of this great land.  You are a failure.....  It is time you have to look at your self and decide that you have to pay for anything you want the government to give you.  You have to be willing to actually be willing to give your life, future and wealth for this country......That means know who you are electing....demand more political parties in Congress....and understand that after a short time, twelve years every politician has been bought and paid for to purchase his last election.  You are the problem because you are lazy.  It is your fault jobs went to other countries and your fault in education.  Why?????  Because you were not willing to spend time and money to find true Americans and put them in power.  Instead you kept voting the same people in and they have sold their hearts and souls for money, they have sold out America and you let them......
