In the Civil War, the State overcame the Constitution. It's why we have to teach some kind of State stuff, even in home schooling. Want to shut down public schools? Shut down government. Better yet, use what the Constitution really says to realize that you are under no compulsion by anybody - even government - to use your property in ways other than you decide. Yes, your children are your property.
