America's problem with Muslims is entirely of its own making, as the herd of ostriches allows America-hating leftists to open the gates without lifting a finger, treating the Muslims' alien ways as a problem within their own heads. It's a bi-i-i-g world out there. If I could get just 100,000 people to wake up and fly with the eagles by following my free Historyscoper's Islam Watch Blog containing daily links to all important articles and op-eds on the issue, the country could be turned around in 1 year. How about you? Spit the sand out and click: http://tinyurl.com/islamwatchblog

The barbarity of some Islamic groups cannot be denied. But occasionally your criticisms are a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Take female circumcision. It is not practiced by all Muslim societies. By contrast male circumcision in the US can also be correctly termed "genital mutilation". It too is usually performed without benefit of anesthetic. Every year some male babies die from it. Even more are botched, which are devastating. You object to Islamic approval of polygamy and point out such behaviour is illegal throughout the US. So what? Why should polygamy of polyandry be illegal? Having multiple marriage partners in no way violates anyone's freedom or property thus should not be subject to legal prohibition. My last criticism is your assertion that, "If not confronted, Islam will become the new cultural paradigm in America: thus taking Western civilization back into the Dark Ages of the 6th century where Islam began." Please! Getting a little hysterical with that one, aren't you? How can seven million Muslims impose Sharia law on 300 million American, most of whom have already been conditioned to despise everything associated with Islam? And also, many of mid eastern descent in the US would join with the mass of US citizenry in violently opposing any such attempt. Finally, your other warnings about honor killings, forced marriage and child sex are right on target, and although terrible, are a small part of US problems. They are already against the law and thankfully there is scant chance that will change. Better to focus on US caused problems: needless wars against Islamic nations killing innocents abroad by the hundreds of thousands; a corrupt and unwinnable drug war that incarcerates hundreds of thousands of non-violent prisoners; out of control government spending and accumulated debt which will eventually collapse the world financial system and bring unimaginable horrors in its wake.
