RE: Safety Measures at Theaters Hi Dave.. Thanks for the article. You know when one of these events happen the media is all over it.. and parts of the story leak out until the minions gain control of the media and control the info flow. One of the things that I head on the TV and I cannot even remember the channel, but in relation to fire doors.. Fire doors only open from the inside only, unless someone puts a JAM in the door for an easy outside access. The News reporter said that when a Fire Door is open the lights in the theater are also suppose to come on automatically, probably helping the people in the theater see their way out is a quicker fashion. Besides the fire doors sound an alarm. So what were these doors not operating properly? Where they disarmed? And if so who disarmed them. You will find the theater negligent in proper security for their patrons. I was a firefighter, and there are statistics that when there is a fire, that most like 90% of the people try to GO OUT of the same door that they came in. That is why they have bright lights above fire doors saying FIRE EXIT. One other observation that I would debate is if more people were licensed to carry firearms, they could have been shooting back at the assailant. And less likely as many would have been killed or shot. So who rigged the Fire doors to fail? And should the public be testing more fire doors to see if they are operational? Where are the FIRE INSPECTORS of Aurora? Or is it just business as usual.. Getting people killed. Just my take.. Michael - Tampa

The questions that must also now be brought to light is how in the new American police/surveillance state failed to detect this individual? NSA wiretapping, internet surveillance, and other government apparatuses used illegally under the guise of security are now falling apart faster than the global banking fraud, and the media will never challenge these "necessities" in any meaningful way. While the media is fully trained and able to shut down even the mention of anything they claim as a conspiracy, the important and necessary questions that must now be asked is if perhaps Ron Paul was't correct in stating that we should never give up liberties for a false sense of security. After this shooting, how is the loss of your 4th, 5th, 9th, and 10th amendments working out for you? About as well as it did for the victims in this shooting, so now not only have we lost our rights without even so much as a peep from the masses, the reality now shows that these losses have resulted once again in another government failure, and the issue must be raised as to the validity of these bureaucracies after this event, and perhaps help to restore our constitutional rights that have been usurped.

I don't have a degree, but I was seeing through what was being said on the MSM from the beginnig. What the public was being told was not making any sense, just like the things mentioned in this article. The only thing that was making sense was the fact that that bill at the UN is going to be signed by pres O and H. Clinton. That was one of the first things that came to my mind about what has just happened. We will just have to wait until the 27th to see this happen. Also, that is the day the Olympic's starts, so that is a day that millions will have their eyes turned for a different view of world events and the signing will almost go unnoticed.

Same ole, same ole...."we just gotta get the guns away from those people who go around shooting everybody in sight!" No mention of the Attorney General and Obama giving all those guns to Mexico to shoot our own border guards. No mention of the Ft. Hod shooter who was able to shoot military people because THEY were disarmed because of the "law" there. But take away our right to defend ourselves? As Charleston Heston said, when he was head of the NRA: "Out of my dead hands!"
