Are Puppet Zelensky's Days Numbered?

by Stephen Lendman

Most everything he's done since replacing "chocolate king" Poroshenko as hegemon USA's puppet in Kiev pushed the demise of the territory known as Ukraine.

According to analyst, Alexander Nepogodin, on Wednesday:

Zelensky is "deeply vulnerable to political intrigues (because of a conflict) between (him and Ukrainian) military commanders."

Russia's Security Council Deputy Chairman, Dmitry Medvedev, believes that "a military coup in" Kiev may replace him — "followed by recognition of" successful results of Russia's SMO.

And this from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, saying:

"Ukraine is being carved up, and a conflict is brewing between the president and the military."

"They are the only ones who can slam their fists on the table and say, 'Let's reach agreement' " with Russia.

" 'Otherwise, Ukraine will be wiped off from the face of the earth.' "

"The outcome is close. (Zelensky) can't say a word there any longer."

"Nothing depends on (him) in Ukraine now, but on the military."

He and Ukraine's AFU commander-in-chief, General Valery Zaluzhny, are sharply at odds over how things are run internally.

Zaluzhny's popularity is increasing among Ukrainians and rank-and-file troops.

According to Germany's Bild broadsheet:

Unnamed "(o)bservers believe that (Zaluzhny) will replace" Zelensky.

At the same time, Western support for the puppet in Kiev is eroding — because of Russian operational successes on the ground in Ukraine and Donbass.

Internally in Ukraine, state-controlled media reports suggest some looming high-profile resignations and other changes are coming.

Vulnerable Zelensky may lose a looming internal power struggle because of the dismal state of things he's done nothing to alleviate.

After being pushed by his US master to launch a doomed-to-fail Kherson Region offensive on September 1, he doubled down on what's been devastating by beginning a second front in the Kharkov Region.

Russian forces earlier smashed attempted Ukrainian offensives.

The pattern repeated in and around Kherson while fighting remains ongoing.

The same reality applies to the Kharkov Region.

According to Southfront — citing unconfirmed reports — "Russian forces repelled (a) Ukrainian attack south of Balakleya near the village of Bayrak" in the region's northeast by artillery and aerial strikes on Kiev troops.

Instead of one losing offensive alone, a double regime loss looms.

And with them, thousands of killed and wounded Ukrainian troops — while accomplishing nothing more than greater bloodshed.

Separately, MSM claims about regime strikes on Russian supply lines, command posts, weapons, munitions and equipment depots, airbases, bridges and other targets are greatly exaggerated.

At the same time, information on how overpowering Russian forces devastated Ukrainian troops is suppressed.

There's no ambiguity about the success of Russia SMO and how it'll turn out.

It's just a matter of time before Ukraine's greatly degraded military collapses if it continues pursuing a lost cause long enough.

Or perhaps Ukraine's military high command will remove and replace Zelensky to end the carnage to its troops — followed by outreach to Russia, accepting reality on the ground by pursuing restoration of peace.
