Biden Regime "Condemns" Terrorist Attack in Kabul?

by Stephen Lendman

On Tuesday, Biden regime special representative for Afghanistan, Thomas West, said the following…with tongue in cheek:

The empire of lies and forever wars on invented enemies "condemns the terrorist attack…outside the Russian Embassy in Kabul earlier today (sic), and I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims who were killed or hurt (sic)."

The explosion killed two diplomatic mission staff, four Afghan civilians and injured 11 others.

According to Russia's Foreign Ministry, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device near the entrance to the consular section of its embassy in Kabul.

ISIS claimed responsibility for what happened.

The terrorist group, al-Qaeda, their offshoots, other jihadists and allied White Helmets were made-in-the-USA for use as proxy troops by the empire of lies for perpetual wars on invented enemies — ones unwilling to subordinate their sovereignty and other rights affirmed by international law to a higher power in Washington.

Based on Big Lie pretexts — what unjustifiably justifies all US wars on invented enemies — hegemon USA's aggression on Afghanistan, by hot and other means, continues with no end of it in prospect.

Weeks after the Biden regime's humiliating withdrawal of Pentagon combat troops from the nation that the empire of lies and forever wars raped and destroyed since October 7, 2001, US war department spokesman, Kirby, said the following:

The Biden regime "retain(s) all necessary authorities (sic) to execute over-the-horizon counterterrorism operations (sic), and we remain confident in these capabilities moving forward (sic)," adding:

"Without speaking to specific rules of engagement surrounding air strikes, there is currently no requirement to clear airspace with the Taliban (sic), and we do not expect that any future over-the-horizon counterterrorism strikes would hinge on such a clearance (sic)."

And this from USCENTCOM at the time, saying:

When the Pentagon extrajudicially "authorizes (air) strikes…in Afghanistan, (it) won't be negotiating with the Taliban about where and when" it'll conduct terror-bombing attacks — what naked aggression is all about.

Dominant Biden regime hardliners consider Afghanistan "a free space (sic)" to operate in and exploit at its discretion — a flagrant UN Charter breach.

And this from interventionist Blinken's so-called spokesman, Price, at the time, saying:

The Biden regime will "hold the Taliban accountable to their commitment to prevent terrorist groups from using Afghanistan as a base for external operations that threaten other countries (sic)."

Ignored by Price and other US officials is reality throughout central Asia, the Middle East and elsewhere.

Terrorists 'R Us defines how hegemon USA operates at home and worldwide — what its global war on humanity is all about, what aims to control the world community of nations by brute force.

Separately, the Biden regime illegally — with malice aforethought — froze around $9 billion of Afghan funds at the Wall Street-controlled New York Fed — with continuing to impose misery on its long-suffering people in mind.

Notably it was done to prevent the Taliban from buying food and other essentials for millions of Afghans in need.

The Biden regime's so-called "commitment to the Afghan people" is all about starving, exploiting and otherwise immiserating them into submission to the interests of hegemon USA.

Separately on what relates to its pledge about evacuating all US citizens and Afghan workers for Pentagon and CIA occupation forces, the empire of lies and forever wars once again proved that its word is never its bond.

Thousands were left behind and abandoned by the Biden regime.

When asked about reality on the ground days earlier, deputy State Department spokesman, Verdant Patel, turned truth on its head as follows falsely, claiming:

"(W)e are continuing to be laser focused (sic) on…do(ing) whatever we can (to fulfill) our commitment (on) expeditiously" completing the evacuation "process (sic)…while safeguarding our national security (sic)."

The above double-talk is code language to conceal how the Biden regime abandoned thousands in the country it falsely vowed to evacuate.

Afghan interpreter for the US 82nd airborne force — Aman Khalili involved in helping to rescue the real Joe Biden, John Kerry and Chuck Hagel from a snowy Afghanistan valley in Feb. 2008 — was one among thousands of other Afghans left behind who'd been promised to be evacuated by the fake JB.

Like many other Afghans eligible for evacuation, he applied for a special immigrant visa (SIV) for himself and family members.

Yet he was denied on the phony pretext of no record to prove his eligibility.

Belatedly after he and his family endured months of misery, the Human First Coalition charity got him, thousands of other Afghans and about 1,000 Americans abandoned by the Biden regime out of the country at last.

They, hundreds of other Americans and around 75,000 Afghans were left behind, the pledge by dominant Biden regime hardliners to evacuate them breached.

Months earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said the following about how the Biden regime abandoned Afghans and Americans it vowed to evacuate:

"(W)e hear statements (about) the logical completion of (hegemon USA's) operation in Afghanistan."

"It is not true. It is not a logical completion."

"It's been "a failure" — the willful betrayal of countless thousands of Afghans and Americans it vowed to help.

Further, throughout its 20-year-long war and occupation of Afghanistan, the empire of lies and forever wars "never reported" anything about how it operated in the country.

"(N)ot only (did US regimes report nothing to the) Security Council, they kept "the entire international community (uninformed), despite reminders (and) its commitments" to explain its operations in detail.

Along with its jihadist foot soldiers, hegemon USA bears full responsibility for the Monday terrorist attack near Russia's Kabul embassy.

The incident was part of the Biden regime's proxy hot and sanctions war on Russia with no end of it in prospect.

A Final Comment

On September 4, Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said the following:

"Any confrontation is followed by detente, and any crisis situation is resolved at the negotiating table."

"This is what will happen this time as well…(though unlikely to occur) soon."

Chances for rapprochement between sovereign independent Russia and a future US regime is virtually off the table for perhaps a generation or longer.

Indeed, virtually all conflicts and crises are resolved eventually.

In the long run, over a century of US hostility toward Russia will end one day.

Yet as economist John Maynard Keynes once said:

"In the long run, we are all dead."
