Are Russian/US Relations Ruptured Beyond Repair?

Hegemon USA has been hostile toward Russia since its liberating 1917 revolution — pausing during WW II to defeat Nazism and during the dismal Yeltsin years of subservience to exploitive US interests.

US policy toward Russia has been especially hostile during Vladimir Putin's tenure, notably after his 2007 Munich Security Conference address with remarks like the following:

"When peace has been broken anywhere, the peace of all countries everywhere is in danger," adding:

Unipolarity and other imperial notions of world supremacy reflect "Cold War bloc thinking."

A world with "one master, one sovereign is unacceptable…pernicious, not only for all those within this system, but also for the sovereign itself because it destroys itself from within."

"(T)his certainly has nothing in common with democracy."

"(W)e are constantly being taught about democracy" by the West. 

"(T)hose who teach us do not want to learn themselves."

"(T)he unipolar model is not only unacceptable but also impossible in today's world."

'(T)he model itself is flawed because…(u)nilateral and frequently illegitimate actions have not resolved any problems." 

They create major ones, plunging the world "into an abyss of permanent conflicts," along with "greater and greater disdain for the basic principles of international law."

"One state…first and foremost the US" imposes its will on other nations politically, economically and militarily.

Abuses by a dominant nation forces others to react defensively, producing an arms race menacing everyone.

Putin denounced what he called illegitimate military operations that flagrantly violate UN Charter principles and other international law.

He called for working together cooperatively to resolve differences — a notion hegemons ignore and don't tolerate.

Rage by the empire of lies for unchallenged dominance threatens everyone everywhere.

No prospect exists for shifting the US drive for hegemony into a partner for peace, stability, cooperative relations with the world community of nations, and respect for the rule of law.

On Friday, Russian Foreign Ministry's North American Department director, Alexander Darchiev, warned of rupturing relations with the empire of lies if it continues waging proxy hot and sanctions war on the Russian Federation — trying to crush its sovereignty and economy, adding:

The US-dominated West "trampled on international law and absolute taboos in diplomatic practice."

"(T)he legislative initiative currently being discussed in Congress to declare Russia a 'country sponsor of terrorism' " barely stops short of a declaration of war. 

"If passed (and enacted into law), it would mean that (hegemon USA) would have to cross the point of no return, with the most serious collateral damage to bilateral diplomatic relations, up to their lowering or even breaking them off."

"The (Biden regime and congressional co-conspirators have) been warned."

Separately on Saturday, head of Russia's Foreign Ministry's North American Department, Aleksander Darchiev, said the following:

"(W)e're not seeing grounds for finding compromises with (hegemon USA), which is not quite capable of negotiating."

If their dominant hardliners shift "to common sense and take a sober look at the changing geopolitical landscape, demonstrating – not with words, but with actions – the intent to respect Russian national interests, then a basis for a gradual normalization of bilateral relations will appear."

Attempts by US/Western regimes to make Russia's economy scream failed.

"We are reacting calmly, and not going out of our way to seek talks."

The empire of lies and its Western vassals bear full responsibility for virtually rupturing relations with Moscow, for forcing Vladimir Putin to intervene in Ukraine and Donbass defensively — to protect Russia's security from endless US-orchestrated and directed Kiev aggression along its borders.

Chances for mending US/Western relations with Russia over the near-and-intermediate term are virtually nil.

If initiated, attempts by Moscow will be foolhardy and futile.

Time and again, reality proved that diplomatic outreach to the empire of lies and forever wars were exercises in futility.

Its ruling regimes can never be trusted, especially undemocratic Dems.

Months earlier when US-dominated regimes launched proxy hot and all-out sanctions war on Russia — based on bald-faced Big Lies — the Kremlin should have cut ties to their authorities.

Vladimir Putin should have ordered a halt to supplying them with oil, gas and other commodities.

If he took this step now, it would be the most effective way end Russia's SMO successfully and save lives.

Without Russian energy, especially its gas, and other key commodities, European economies dependent on them would collapse.

That's the surest way to convince them to break with the empire of lies on Ukraine.

Their ruling authorities are too out of touch with reality to understand that US-led sanctions war on Russia targets their economies most of all — to give US corporate predators a greater competitive edge at the expense of their European counterparts.

Failing to act in support of their own interests over demands by their US master is self-destructive.

Russia is part of Europe.

It behooves its nation states to work cooperatively together for the mutual benefit of them all — instead of the counterproductive other way around.
