Love Bus Liberty Tour - April 2022 - On the road to Oklahoma for Midfest (Mid-Continent Liberty Festival)

Ernest and Donna go back on the road for a trip to Midfest (Mid-Continent Liberty Festival) in Spavinaw, OK. Midfest is an unorganized non-event for fellowship with kindred spirits seeking a stateless society and is held every April and October. http://midfest.info/

April 17th, 2022

After spending Easter with a few family members, Ernest and Donna head out of Phoenix on their way to Flagstaff for the night. Climbing out of the Sonoran Desert on Easter evening is much cooler during the night, not much traffic, and is a long, slow climb up the hill that the Love Bus does not like...

We plan to be in Spavinaw on Tuesday evening (April 19th)

Monday April 18th:

Applebee's pivot straight from Covid to Putin/Ukraine without missing a step.

Thursday/Friday April 21/22 - Build Site is at Mike Swatek's property in Oklahoma.

Recent photos from the build (April 2022).

Ernest and Mike do a podcast about the build: http://www.freedomsphoenix.com/Media/324376-2022-04-24-2022-04-24-ernest-interviews-mike-swatek-on-aircrete-dome.htm

April 27th, 2022 - R.I.P. Hannah...

Our little dog (actually Donna's little dog), Hannah - a maltipoo - was 13 years old and since being on the Love Bus Liberty Tour, she had gone down hill to the point that she had no quality of life. Although she traveled all over the U.S. with us and met a lot of the activists from all over the place, she was sleeping almost 24 hours a day, eating very little, and was very weak towards the end. She had a good life, and the word that everyone uses to describe here was 'sweet'. So I made the decision to put her down while we were at Midfest in Spavinaw, OK; I took her to Salina, OK which was about 20 miles away. That last drive with her was tough, but I chose to remember all the good times we had with her (from her just loving on the grandkids to chasing off coyotes to defend our chickens), she had a good life and was well loved. Here are some pics from the tour...

This is from the very first day of our tour in May 2020 - leaving Arizona:

At Jay and Shalon's at the domes, Hannah was very interested in their bird:
