No Leaders in the US/West for Peace Over Forever Wars

Glorifying wars while shunning peace is longstanding US policy by a nation addicted to war-making from inception.

Did Washington already launch WW III?

Trends analyst Gerald Celente warned that things are headed in this direction with not a peep of talk about ceasefire in Ukraine from the US-dominated West.

Hegemon USA is waging forever wars on multiple fronts.

They include cold wars, hot wars, economic, financial, environmental and information wars, along with genocidal war by kill shots to eliminate millions and billions of unwanted people worldwide — including at home.

They're wars to serve privileged interests at the expense of most all others at home and abroad.

The long ago land of opportunity no longer exists.

Forever wars, state-sponsored genocide and neoliberal harshness replaced it.

Democracy in America was always pure fantasy — existing for its privileged class alone.

Post-WW II, the US reached peak power, prominence, influence, and leadership o­n the world stage.

Perhaps as early as preemptive war on nonbelligerent North Korea in 1950 began its fall from grace.

A decade of Southeast Asia war accelerated it.

Gaining further downhill momentum for the 1990s rape of the former Yugoslavia, the state-sponsored 9/11 mother of all false flags to that time may have been the imperial state's coup de grace.

What happened may have crossed a rubicon of no return toward history's dustbin — the fate of all previous empires awaiting the current one.

As president, Jack Kennedy transformed himself from a warrior leader to peacemaker — the key reason why the CIA assassinated him.

On September 25, 1961, JFK addressed the UN General Assembly on pursing and keeping peace over the other way around.

Nine months earlier, he was inaugurated into office as US president.

Perhaps this address discussed below made him a marked man for elimination that included the following remarks:

The "great question" of this time is "whether the 'foul winds of war' can be tamed in time to free the cooling winds of reason, and whether (UN Charter) pledges are to be fulfilled or defied — pledges to secure peace, progress, human rights and world law."

"Today, every inhabitant of this planet must contemplate the day when this planet may no longer be habitable." 

"Every man, woman and child lives under a nuclear sword of Damocles, hanging by the slenderest of threads, capable of being cut at any moment by accident or miscalculation or by madness." 

"The weapons of war must be abolished before they abolish us."

Policymakers must "no longer maintain that disarmament must await the settlement of all disputes."

Its urgency "is a practical matter of life and death."

JFK debunked the notion of a "Soviet problem or an American problem."

There's a "human problem" that requires endorsing and pursuing "general, complete…internationally controlled disarmament."

JFK "challenge(d) the Soviet Union, not to an arms race, but to a peace race."

A race "to advance together step by step, stage by stage, until general and complete disarmament has been achieved."

A race that "would create machinery to keep the peace as it destroys the machinery of war."

"(G)eneral and complete disarmament must no longer be a slogan," he said.

It must be "a goal (with a) means of achieving it." 

"Such a plan…would bring a world free from the terrors of mass destruction." 

"It would…usher in an era in which no state could annihilate or be annihilated by another."

JFK called for disarmament negotiations to begin "promptly…continu(ed) without interruption until (this goal is) not only…agreed (on) but…actually…achieved."

With global security in mind, he stressed that there's "no alternative" to this option.

His proposal included the following steps:

A nuclear test ban treaty agreed on by all nations.

Halting production of fissionable materials and preventing their transfer from one nation to others.

"(P)rohibiting the transfer of control over nuclear weapons to states that do not own them."

"(K)eeping nuclear weapons from seeding new battlegrounds in outer space."

Eliminating existing nuclear weapons "and converting their materials to peaceful uses."

"(H)alting unlimited testing and production of strategic nuclear delivery vehicles, and gradually destroying them" all.

JFK went further, adding:

"(W)e must outlaw worldwide war and weapons."

All UN member states should establish "peacekeeping units in their armed forces."

Peacemaking machinery for settling disputes should be improved.

Three years before the August 1964 US state-sponsored Gulf of Tonkin false flag — what launched a decade of US aggression against North Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos — JFK noted what began reality in the region after his assassination.

What he called "the smoldering coals of war in Southeast Asia"became made-in-the-USA aggression after his elimination for championing peace over perpetual wars.

He pledged that on his watch, the US would "neither commit nor provoke aggression, that we shall neither flee nor invoke the threat of force…"

He concluded saying that "(n)ever have the nations of the world had so much to lose, or so much to gain." 

"Together we shall save our planet, or together we shall perish in its flames."

"Save it we can and save it we must."

"(A)nd then shall we earn the eternal thanks of mankind and, as peacemakers, the eternal blessing of God."

Make no mistake.

JFK's transformation from warrior to peacemaker led to his state-sponsored assassination.

His elimination on November 22, 1963 was largely about continuing US forever wars over ending them.

Rejecting Pax Americana was his undoing, along with nuclear disarmament, rapprochement with Soviet Russia, US forces out of Vietnam by December 1965, abhorrence of the CIA he wanted dismantled, and championing a new era of peace over perpetual wars.

From his death to the present time, warmakers, not peacemakers, served in US high office.

Perpetual hot and cold wars raged.

Things today may be more perilous than any previous time.

Are US sanctions and proxy hot war on Russia heading toward unthinkable direct conflict between the world's leading nuclear powers by accident or design?

Has the USA's megalomaniacal drive for global hegemony gone beyond a point of being able to save humanity "from the scourge of (global) war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind?"

No JFKs are around to prevent it.
