Diplomacy with Hegemon USA a Colossal Waste of Time

by Stephen Lendman

Hegemons don't negotiate.

They demand everything in return for hollow promises to be breached at their discretion.

Russia wastes time and effort by engaging with US officials diplomatically.

Things always turn out much the same way.

Virtually everything agreed to by both right wings of the US war party and the Russian Federation was entirely or partially breached by Washington.

At times straightaway. Some times later on.

It's proof positive that the US can never be trusted, its word never its bond.

What could Vladimir Putin, Sergey Lavrov and other Russian officials hope to accomplish by engaging with their US counterparts diplomatically, given the above reality?

Since meeting with the fake Biden in Geneva last June, Vladimir Putin spoke to the White House imposter three more times.

Sergey Lavrov met with or spoke by phone with interventionist Blinken numerous times since undemocratic Dems usurped power by election rigging.

Once again on Saturday, both Russian officials discussed Ukraine and related issues with their US counterparts — wasting time and effort, accomplishing nothing positive.

According to a White House (WH) readout:

The fake Biden spoke to Vladimir Putin "about Russia's escalating military buildup on the borders of Ukraine (sic)."

Fact: No Russian buildup exists along the border of Ukraine or any other countries, nothing with hostile intentions in mind on the world stage.

WH: The fake Biden "was clear that, if Russia undertakes a further invasion of Ukraine (sic), (hegemon USA-dominated NATO) will respond decisively and impose swift and severe costs on Russia (sic)."

Fact: No Russian invasion of Ukraine occurred earlier, none forthcoming.

Fact: No evidence suggests it because none exists.

Fact: Phony claims otherwise by the US/West and their press agent media are part of longstanding Russia bashing — for refusing to sacrifice its sovereignty to a higher power in Washington.

Reciting pre-scripted lines for Saturday's phone call, the fake Biden's claim about hegemon USA's preference for "diplomacy" is belied by its forever hot and cold wars at home and worldwide against invented enemies.

Separately, a Saturday readout of Sergey Lavrov's conversation with interventionist Blinken falsely claimed that it was about "acute and shared (US/Western) concerns that Russia may be considering launching further military aggression (sic) against Ukraine in the coming days (sic)."

No ambiguity about Russia's geopolitical agenda exists.

Nothing refutes its peace and stability priorities on the world stage.

In stark contrast to hegemon USA-dominated NATO's forever wars, Russia is a preeminent advocate of cooperative relations with other nations and strict compliance with international law.

Once again on Saturday, Blinken insulted Lavrov by calling for Russia to "deescalate" what US-dominated NATO escalated along its borders.

Another insult followed — demanding that "Moscow…engage in good-faith discussions (sic)."

Good faith defines Russia's dealings with other nations.

Its actions on the world stage are worlds apart from how US-dominated NATO operates — bullying, threatening and/or bludgeoning other nations to bend to its will.

Discussing Putin's discussion with the fake Biden, Kremlin official Yuri Ushakov said the following:

"The conversation came amid an atmosphere of unprecedented hysteria by US officials over (the US/Western's invented threat of an) imminent (Russian) 'invasion' of Ukraine," adding:

"At the backdrop of the (fabricated) allegations…conditions are being created for possible provocative actions by the Ukrainian armed forces" against Donbass.

For weeks, the Biden regime, its Western allies and MSM co-conspirators fabricated claims of an imminent invasion of Ukraine, "even providing dates, (while) boost(ing) Ukraine's military muscle" for escalated aggression on Donbass.

At the same time, heightening tensions over "movement(s) of our troops on our territory…reached the point of absurdity in" recent days.

Separately, Blinken fabricated reality as follows, saying:

"No one should be surprised if Russia instigates a provocation or incident which it then uses to justify military action it had planned all along (sic)."

Provocations are longstanding US/NATO policy against invented enemies.

The same goes for state terrorism and smashing nations to control them.

Virtually everything claimed by hegemon-USA dominated NATO regimes and their MSM press agents about Russia is fake news.

US-generated Cold War rages with no signs of easing in prospect.

Commenting on the Biden regime's fake news claim of an imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine, Moscow's deputy UN envoy Dmitry Polyansky tweeted the following:

Russian "troops are on (their own) territory (so) I wonder if (hegemon USA) will invade Ukraine."

"Someone has to after such a panic campaign."

After what seems like forever Russia bashing, nothing dominant Biden regime hardliners may have in mind ahead will surprise.

Whatever may or may not happen, it's clear that engaging with US regimes diplomatically by Russia and other nations free from their control is a colossal waste of time when undertaken.
