The NYT Perpetuates the Myth of a January 6, 2021 Capitol Hill Insurrection

by Stephen Lendman

The NYT never met an indisputable truth about a key domestic or geopolitical issue it didn't reinvent to serve its one-sided support for wealth, power and privilege at the expense of governance for everyone equitably and journalism as it should be.

Throughout Trump's tenure, it invented fake reasons to slam him over legitimate ones.

Followers of my writing know that I sharply criticized his domestic and foreign policies, his congenital lying, his support for privileged Americans at the expense of most others.

In all my writing, I stick to truth and full disclosure as best I know it.

Times anti-Trump fury followed his defeat of unindicted war criminal, racketeer, perjurer Hillary —  the most recklessly dangerous US/Western political figure in modern memory.

What happened last January 6 on Capitol Hill was an orchestrated anti-Trump false flag to demonize him for fake reasons, ignoring legitimate ones.

It came weeks after undemocratic Dems staged the most brazen election fraud in US history to usurp power.

It was America's version of Germany's February 27, 1933 Reichstag fire.

Falsely blamed on communists, President von Hindenburg was manipulated to sign an emergency decree.

Civil liberties were suspended. Weimar Republic democracy died, and Hitler assumed fascist powers after enough Nazis were elected to assure it.

On November 3, 2020, undemocratic Dems illegitimately seized power their own way.

Trump was reelected. The fake Biden was installed as a figurehead president.

The real Biden remains hidden from public view because he's too cognitively impaired to function in any official capacity.

Dems rigged enough state votes to gain control over both Houses of Congress.

Empowered illegitimately, the Times and most other MSM support what demanded exposure and condemnation.

Trump correctly said the following to supporters on Capitol Hill a year ago:

"I know how you feel, but go home and go home in peace. I know you're in pain. I know you're hurt."

"We had an election that was stolen from us."

"It was a landslide election, and everyone knows it, especially the other side."

"(Y)ou have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order."

"We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don't want anybody hurt."

"These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously and viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly and unfairly treated."

"Go home with love and in peace. Remember this day forever!"

Facebook, Twitter and Instagram conspired with Dem usurpers against him.

After removing his video message, follow-up messages were blocked for 24 hours — based on the Big Lie claim of "inciting violence (sic)."

The Times falsely accused him of "publish(ing) a string of inaccurate and inflammatory messages on a day of violence in the nation's capital (sic)."

On New Year's day, Times editors repeated Big Lies it reported earlier about what happened on Capitol Hill one year ago.

They lied accusing Trump of inciting "a deadly riot at the seat of American government (sic)."

They lied claiming that he staged "a last-ditch effort to thwart the transfer of power to his successor  (sic)."

There's plenty to blame him for — notably legitimate breaches of international, constitutional and US statute laws supported by the Times and other MSM.

Not a shred of evidence connected him to what happened on Capitol Hill last January.

Times Big Lies and mass deception never quit.

Indeed the US "faces an existential threat…that is openly contemptuous of democracy and has shown that it is willing to use violence to achieve its ends."

It's from hostile actions by both right wings of the US ruling class.

It's from contempt of governance for all Americans equitably.

It's from forever wars on humanity at home and abroad.

It's from Washington's "rules-based order" in breach of international and constitutional law.

It's from kill shots with mass-extermination of unwanted segments of societies worldwide in mind, and abolition of what remains of greatly eroded freedoms.

What the Times should feature, it suppresses.

What it reports serves special interests at the expense of public  health, well-being and the rule of law at home and abroad.

The self-styled newspaper of record is a national disgrace.

I agree with the late Chicago columnist Mike Royko, once saying:

"No self-respecting fish would want to be wrapped in" Times newsprint.

All things related to truth-telling on key domestic and geopolitical issues are banned in its editions.

Big Lies and mass deception replaced them.
