Hegemon USA's Humiliating Afghan Defeat Postmortems

On Sunday, Trump called for selected, unelected Biden to resign — for the wrong reasons, saying:

Afghanistan "will go down as one of the greatest defeats in American history," — true enough, adding:

Biden should "resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in (flu/covid) (sic), the border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence and our crippled economy."

He should be ousted for usurping power — in office with no legitimacy.

Represented by a double in public is because he's too cognitively impaired and out of touch with reality to serve in any capacity.

Trump correctly said "he wasn't elected legitimately in the first place."

In July, Biden's impersonator defied reality by saying in response to being asked if a Taliban takeover is inevitable:

"No, it is not (sic)."

"Afghan troops have 300,000 well-equipped — as well-equipped as any army in the world — and an air force against something like 75,000 Taliban. It is not inevitable (sic)."

It's now reality. 

Biden's double does little more than recite or paraphrase lines scripted for him.

Uninvolved in affairs of state beyond a ceremonial role, the real Biden is hidden out of sight who knows where.

Suppressed by establishment media complicity, most Americans are unaware of the charade.

They're kept from knowing how they're scammed on virtually all issues affecting their lives, health, fundamental freedoms and safety.

In the run-up to and for the last 20 years, NYT propaganda supported US aggression in Afghanistan — and against all other hegemon USA's invented enemies.

Earlier, the Times falsely claimed that US war in Afghanistan aimed to "(s)et up a government, help it consolidate control, and wait for Afghans to reject the Taliban in favor of stability (sic)."

Ignored by the Times and other establishment media is Washington's permanent war on humanity at home and abroad — seeking control over planet earth, its resources and populations by brute force most often.

In Afghanistan, the Taliban gained power in the mid-1990s following years of devastating war.

Their roots go back to CIA-recruited, armed and supported Mujahideen fighters against Afghanistan's Soviet occupiers in the 1980s.

Ronald Reagan called them "the moral equivalent of our founding fathers (sic)."

Yesteryear's Mujahideen are today's Taliban fighters.

Their extremist ideology aside, they want their country back, US-led foreign invaders out, Afghanistan controlled by Afghans, free from oppressive/exploitive occupation.

Washington's longest war in modern times was unwinnable years ago.

Whether peace and stability can be restored to the country in the aftermath of the US defeat is very much uncertain — what most likely won't happen in a nation beset by centuries of war and human suffering.

On Sunday, NYT propaganda ignored reality about the longstanding "tragedy of Afghanistan."

It turned truth on its head, falsely claiming that hegemon USA seeks "a world where the values of civil rights, women's empowerment and religious tolerance rule (sic)."

Preemptive US imperial wars against invented enemies are all about seeking unchallenged dominance over the world community of nations, their resources and populations.

The Times ignored 20 years of US aggression based on Big Lies and mass deception, millions of Afghans slaughtered, over $2 trillion spent on a repeat of what the CIA called "the grand illusion of the American cause" in Southeast Asia.

The above applies to Afghanistan, including Langley's involvement in and profiting from opium production to produce heroin and other illicit opioids.

Under US control, Afghanistan became the world's largest opium producer, what the Taliban largely eliminated in the 1990s.

Peter Dale Scott earlier explained "(s)ince at least 1950, there has been a global CIA-drug connection operating more or less continuously" to the present time.

"The global drug connection is not just a lateral connection between CIA field operatives and their drug-trafficking contacts."

"It is more significantly a global financial complex of hot money, uniting prominent business, financial and government, as well as underworld figures" — a sort of "indirect empire (operating alongside) existing government."

Heroin and other illicit drugs produce hundreds of billions of dollars in annual revenues.

It's a US government-supported bonanza for corrupt regime officials, the CIA, organized crime and Western financial institutions, heavily involved in money laundering.

Along with achieving its imperial aims, a goal of US aggression in Afghanistan was restoration of opium production — what the Taliban may again largely eliminate.

Instead of explaining the above and all else involved in US aggression and occupation, the Times and other establishment media suppressed it in Afghanistan and about all other countries Washington raped and destroyed.

Saying the Biden regime "was right" to end war in Afghanistan, the Times defied reality by claiming that the US "hope(d) (to create) a better"  country (sic) — by mass slaughter, destruction, looting its resources, and occupation harshness, it failed to explain.

The tragedy of Afghanistan has been centuries of war and human misery its people endured from foreign occupiers, America the latest one with imperial designs on the country.

Like many times before, the Times lied claiming that "war in Afghanistan began in response by the US and its NATO allies to the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 (sic), as an operation to deny Al Qaeda sanctuary in a country (sic)."

Ignored by the Times and other establishment media was long-planned in advance, made-in-the-USA 9/11 with waging preemptive wars on multiple countries in mind.

Al Qaeda, ISIS and likeminded jihadists were created and are used by the Pentagon and CIA as imperial foot soldiers where they're deployed.

US aggression in Afghanistan and elsewhere has had nothing to do with "nation-building," nothing to do with establishing "freedom and democracy," as the Times falsely claimed.

Whenever the US goes to war, it's all about advancing its hegemonic aims extrajudicially, ignoring the human toll.

What the Times and other establishment media should explain is systematically suppressed.

A Final Comment

History's empires sowed the seeds of their own demise, the US no exception. 

Its moment of truth awaits to arrive at a time to be known in hindsight.

Its lost Afghan war advanced the time of its arrival.

According to WaPo, "(w)e've always known this moment would come in Afghanistan…a war that never was the US' to win."

The same holds for all its post-WW II wars of aggression — begun by preemptively attacking nonbelligerent/nonthreatening North Korea.

Bush/Cheney bear most responsibility for preemptively attacking Afghanistan (and Iraq) based on Big Lies and mass deception.

Their successor regimes share blame for continuing what never should have happened in the first place, including the illegitimate Biden one.

Ignoring how it all began in October 2001, the Wall Street Journal blamed Biden for what it called his regime's "Afghanistan surrender," adding:

"(W)ashing his hands of Afghanistan deserves to go down as one of the most shameful in history by a" ruling US regime.

"The consequences of all this will play out over many months and years, and none will be good."

Throughout post-WW II USA history, its ruling authorities and others involved were never held accountable for endless wars of aggression and other crimes against humanity.

Nor will Biden, his double, and regime hardliners ahead for criminality at home and abroad too grievous to ignore.
