US-Installed Afghan Tyranny Ends

Nearly 20 years after the US 9/11 mother of all false flags to that time — followed weeks later by long planned in advance Bush/Cheney aggression against Afghanistan and Yemen — US-installed tyranny in the former country ended.

A Taliban statement said the following:

"(W)ar is over in the country."

"We have reached what we were seeking, which is the freedom of our country and the independence of our people." 

"We will not allow anyone to use our lands to target anyone, and we do not want to harm others."

"The situation is (now) peaceful" in the country.

There are "no combat operations are underway in the capital…and control of the whole of Afghanistan" was established.

Over 46 years after a humiliating exit from the rooftop of its South Vietnamese embassy, a Saigon moment for hegemon USA repeated in Afghanistan.

The Wall Street Journal called chaos in Kabul "Saigon on steroids, (a) desperate rush to flee Afghanistan."

Hegemon USA's defeat is good news for long-suffering Afghans.

The bad news is that their centuries-long liberating struggle continues with no end of it ahead. 

US-installed Afghan puppet Ashraf Ghani reportedly fled Kabul on Sunday, along with other Afghans and foreign nationals.

According to AP News, Ghani fled by air to neighboring 

Tajikistan, likely flown there by his Pentagon handlers.

Despite hundreds of billions of dollars poured down a black hole of waste, fraud and abuse — along with millions killed since October 2001 — US war OF terror in the country will likely continue in new form, even though the Taliban control the entire country.

Notably on May 27, 2014 — over 7 years ago, Obama lied saying the following:

"We will bring America's longest war (in modern times) to a responsible end (sic)."

"The US did not seek this fight (sic)."

"We went into Afghanistan out of necessity (sic), after our nation was attacked by al Qaeda on September 11th, 2001 (sic)."

"We went to war against al Qaeda and its extremist allies (sic) with the strong support of the American people and their representatives in Congress (sic); with the international community and our NATO allies (sic); and with the Afghan people, who welcomed the opportunity of a life free from the dark tyranny of extremism (sic)."

"(W)e have struck significant blows against al Qaeda's leadership (sic)." 

"We have eliminated Osama bin Laden (sic). 

"We have prevented Afghanistan from being used to launch attacks against our homeland (sic)."

"We have also supported the Afghan people as they continue the hard work of building a democracy." 

On October 28, 2007, candidate Obama said:

"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do (sic)." 

"I will get our troops home (sic)." 

"We will bring an end to this war (sic)." 

"You can take that to the bank (sic)."  

All of the above, much more of the same by him and other US officials on Afghanistan and other nations aggressively attacked by Washington, were bald-faced Big Lies.

Afghanistan and Yemen were Bush/Cheney's wars.

Continued by their successor regimes, US preemptive wars were also waged against nonbelligerent Iraq, Libya, Syria, and other countries, as well as against other nations post-WW II and dozens more by other means.

That's what the scourge of imperialism is all about. 

Fantasy democracy USA wages it worldwide to replace free and open societies with tyranny.

Notably post-9/11, a permanent US state of war has existed against humanity at home and abroad — with no end of it in prospect.

Post-US occupation of Afghanistan remains to unfold.

A scenario perhaps similar to Iraq, Libya, and Syria may follow, US ruling regimes continuing to seek control over nations they preemptively attacked and others.

For long-suffering Afghans, their ordeal continues with the country still occupied by covert US special forces, CIA elements, Blackwater USA-type paramilitaries and private military contractors — unless Taliban fighters can drive them out.

It remains to be seen what type rule they'll impose.

Afghans want peace, not war. They want their country back, an end to imperial Washington's presence.

According to one observers years earlier:

"Never in history has any superpower spent so much money, sent so many troops to a country, and had so little influence over" what followed.

As long as Afghanistan remains strategically important, dominant US hardliners won't quit trying to control the country directly or indirectly.

As for long-suffering Afghans —  enduring misery for generations — it's likely to continue ahead under their new ruling class and no end tto US imperial designs on the country.

In Eurasia's heartland, Afghanistan straddles the Middle East, South and Central Asia. 

The US wants control of the country to loot its valued resources and for use against Russia, China and Iran.

Its territory is also at the crossroads of vital oil and gas pipeline routes, including new ones the US wants built.

Like exploited Americans and others in the West, ordinary Afghans have no say over what affects their daily lives.

Nothing in prospect suggests positive change.

One chapter ended after 20 years of liberating struggle.

On Sunday, a new one began, a likely continuation of US imperial designs on the country in new form.

A Final Comment

Al Jazeera's correspondent in Kabul Charlotte Bellis said the Taliban control the city, adding:

At this time, "(i)t's very quiet in Kabul."

"The Taliban say they sent in 1,000 of their special forces units overnight." 

"They are now in control of every checkpoint and have set up additional checkpoints." 

"I saw dozens of Taliban fighters with guns over their shoulders in police vehicles, in Afghan government vehicles patrolling the streets."

"There's not that many people on the streets and it seems as if life can function as normal."

A Taliban spokesman said its fighters are "providing security" in Kabul and elsewhere.

The Biden regime's State Department said all its embassy personnel were evacuated.

Most officials from other Western countries left.

Thousands of Afghans who aided the US occupation remain in the country.

Former CIA analyst Matt Zeller said they may be "hunted down" by the Taliban ahead.

A joint statement by the Biden regime and its imperial partners in Afghanistan stressed the need "for the protection of human life and property." 

Ignored was that hegemon USA and its Western partners don't give a damn about ordinary people at home and abroad — exploiting, not serving and protecting them.

A statement attributed to interventionist Blinken, saying "(t)he Afghan people deserve to live in safety, security and dignity" is polar opposite how the US and NATO mistreated and abused them for two decades — by occupation harshness and slaughter of millions in pursuit of their diabolical aims.

Whatever unfolds ahead, US adventurism in the country furthered its decline.

Like earlier empires, history's dustbin awaits its arrival.
