Biden Regime Rejects Return to JCPOA Compliance

Duplicity defines how US regimes deal with other nations — time and again saying one thing, then going another way.

Last September, a ghost-written CNN op-ed for Biden said the following:

"I will offer Tehran a credible path back to diplomacy (sic)," adding: 

"If Iran returns to strict compliance with the nuclear deal (obligations it never abandoned), the United States would rejoin the agreement as a starting point for follow-on negotiations."

At the same time, the piece falsely accused Iran of shortening its "breakout time" for producing nukes to a few months — despite no evidence suggesting it.

There's indisputable evidence to prove no Iranian nuclear ambitions exist, nothing intended to breach the NPT or JCPOA.

After Dems usurped power by election rigging, the Biden regime sharply about-faced on all things Iran.

Its unacceptable actions since January show it has no intention of returning to JCPOA compliance as unanimously affirmed by Security Council Res. 2231 — making it binding international law on all nations.

In early July, Russia's Sergey Lavrov slammed Biden regime obstructionism, saying:

In multiple rounds of Vienna talks between Iran, E3 countries, Russia and China — the US involved indirectly — US-dominated Western nations "are trying in every possible way to retroactively change the JCPOA" unacceptably.

They want it used as a platform for "impos(ing) more commitments on Iran."

"Notably, not only (on what relates to the JCPOA), but also on matters that have nothing to do with the deal," adding:

Even after Trump illegally abandoned the landmark agreement based on Big Lies, E3 countries going the same way, "Iran kept on fulfilling its (JCPOA) obligations…" 

Its actions comply fully with the letter and spirit of the agreement — in sharp contrast to US/E3 breaches of their obligations.

On Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif slammed US/E3 duplicity, saying:

"They've been transparent about their transgressions and have repeatedly stated their ill-intention to compel Iran to renegotiate the JCPOA provisions through economic pressure and blackmail," adding:

"The Biden (regime) — aided and abetted by the E3 — continued  Trump's economic terrorism against Iranians as supposed 'leverage' to achieve the same objectives."

Iran remains committed to dealing with all other nations in good faith.

It rejects how the US-dominated West falsely blames its ruling authorities for their own breaches of international law.

After over six months in office, it's clear that the Biden regime wants the JCPOA — as affirmed in 2015 — discarded.

It wants a new agreement with provisions no responsible governments would accept.

On Friday, Blinken continued his assault on Iran by a barrage of bald-faced Big Lies, falsely saying the following:

"Iran has not yet made the basic decision about whether it is willing to do what's necessary to come back into compliance with that agreement (sic)." 

"(T)he ball is in Iran's court (sic)." 

"(I)f Iran continues to make the advances it's made on its nuclear program (sic), as it's lifted the constraints imposed by the nuclear agreement (sic), it will get to a point where we can't deal with that simply by coming back into compliance with the nuclear agreement (sic)."

In response to his bald-faced Big Lies, Iranian MP member of its National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Mojtaba Zonnour said the following on Saturday:

The Biden regime made unacceptable "new condition(s)."

"If we accept (what's unacceptable), there will be an agreement and if we don't, no agreement will be reached."

Biden regime hardliners seek what benefits their hegemonic aims at the expense of sovereign Iranian rights and security.

"The (US and E3) announced that the Islamic Republic should in the final statement…commit to cooperate with the West over regional security" by rendering itself defenseless, adding: 

The US-dominated West wants "the security of ISIL, (other) Takfiri terrorists, the Israeli regime, and heads of reactionary regimes…ensured."

They want Iran deprived of the ability to defend itself against US, Western, Israeli aggression.

They want "cameras…install(ed) in our military facilities."

They made unacceptable demands that no responsible governments would agree to.

They took this step to kill the JCPOA in its affirmed form.

Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei said the Biden regime wants Iran's legitimate ballistic missile program negotiated as part of JCPOA talks — wanting it weakened, ideally eliminated, adding:

By adding this unacceptable demand, "they want (an) excuse (to) further interven(e)" against Iran by invoking other phony pretexts.

Nor will the Biden regime agree to provide guarantees against illegally withdrawing from the landmark deal if rejoins it.

Separately based on US supplied talking points, German Foreign Minister Heiko Mass falsely accused Iran of "delaying resumption of (Vienna talks) (sic)." 

He lied claiming that its government "is simultaneously moving further and further away from core elements of the agreement (sic)."

He ignored that the US, UK, France and his own government have been in flagrant breach of the JCPOA since Trump illegally pulled out in May 2018.

According to the Wall Street Journal  last week, the Biden regime intends imposing (illegal) sanctions on Iran's legitimate drone and ballistic missile programs.

If taken, these steps could be a coup de grace to kill the JCPOA once and for all.

Based on its actions toward Iran, its hostility, lack of cooperation and good faith, it's highly likely that Biden regime hardliners intended this outcome all along.

It's further proof that US regimes can never be trusted, that diplomacy with them is a colossal waste of time, that betrayal is Washington's end game in dealing with nations free from its hegemonic grip.
