Putin's No-Summit/Summit with Biden's Double Much Ado About Nothing

When political leaders and others call talks "constructive" — as Putin said after meeting with Biden's double — it's code language for nothing significant accomplished — notably no breakthroughs on major issues.

US hostility toward Russia is longstanding because of its freedom from imperial control — not because of any threat posed by its leadership or military.

There is none, notably not throughout Russian Federation history for the past 30 years.

No nations threaten the US.

Maintaining its bloated military budget — including the Pentagon's worldwide empire of bases — requires enemies so they were invented to justify what's unjustifiable.

Following Geneva talks, former Obama/Biden regime official Charles Kupchan dubiously said the following:

"The meeting could prove to be an inflection point in US-Russia relations (sic), stopping the downward slide and possibly serving as a starting point for improving ties (sic)."

Kupchan is a senior Council on Foreign Relations member.

Historian Arthur Schlesinger, Jr. once called the CFR  a "front organization (for) the heart of the American establishment." 

It promotes an agenda hostile to world peace and the general welfare.

Kupchan's remark sounds like a way to falsely blame Putin when Biden regime hostility toward Russia deteriorates relations more than already.

They've been on a downward trajectory since selected, not elected, Biden replaced Trump by brazen election rigging.

Nothing remotely suggests a shift toward more positive relations ahead — just the opposite.

Time and again, joint public statements following bilateral talks  conceal or gloss over disturbing reality.

On Wednesday, a joint statement by Putin and Biden's double following no-summit/summit talks in Geneva said the following:

"Russia and the United States will embark together on an integrated bilateral Strategic Stability Dialogue in the near future that will be deliberate and robust (sic)," adding: 

"Through this dialogue, we seek to lay the groundwork for future arms control and risk reduction measures."

"Russia and the United States have demonstrated that, even in periods of tension, they are able to make progress on our shared goals of ensuring predictability in the strategic sphere (sic), reducing the risk of armed conflicts and the threat of nuclear war (sic)."

"Today, we reaffirm the principle that a nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought."

Indeed the latter remark is true.

Yet it's far removed from the threat of Washington going this far by accident or design to advance its hostile-to-world-peace and stability agenda for unchallenged global dominance by whatever it takes to achieve its imperial aims.

A nation perpetually at war on invented enemies is an existential  threat to nations unwilling to subordinate their sovereignty to a higher power.

Under both right wings of its war party, the US proved long ago that it can never be trusted.

Time and again, it agrees to one thing, then goes another way.

US hostility toward Russia dates from its 1917 revolution.

Today, it's notably hostile over Moscow's involvement in aiding Syria liberate most of its territory from imperial control by effectively combating US-supported ISIS and other jihadists.

It's because of an invented threat to bordering Ukraine that doesn't exist.

It's because Russia and China, especially united, prevent hegemon USA from controlling planet earth, plundering its resources, and subjugating its populations.

Following Geneva talks on Wednesday, Putin said the US and Russia "bear a special responsibility for strategic stability in the world…" 

It's because both countries are "the two major nuclear superpowers in terms of nuclear warheads, re-entry vehicles and delivery means, as well as the weapons' quality and up-to-dateness."

Putin also explained that in stark contrast to hegemon USA, Russia does not "engage in (war game) drills by dragging our military equipment and personnel to the state borders of the US." 

Pentagon forces "are doing this right at this very moment."

"Therefore, 'concerns' about this situation should be expressed not by the American side, but by the Russian side."

Along with saying both countries agreed to return their envoys to their posts, Putin added the following:

It's Russia's sovereign right to decide whether or not to let foreign vessels pass through its territorial Arctic waters, according to international law.

In response to phony accusations of Russian human rights abuses, Putin stopped short of condemning world's leading scofflaw abuser of the rights of others USA.

He also blamed Washington for imposing illegal sanctions on Russia, breaching the UN Charter and other international law.

Laws, norms and standards the US and its imperial partners long ago abandoned, Russia observes to the letter.

After talks with Biden's double, Putin said he has no "illusions" about bilateral relations ahead, adding:

By no means did a few hours of Geneva talks suggest "that we must look into one another's souls, into one's eyes, and swear…eternal love and friendship. Not at all."

As for current and future generations, Putin said "(w)e met to make the world a safer place for all its inhabitants."

Sad to say, talks ended without achieving the above objective.
