Are Biden Regime Hardliners Plotting a Sarajevo Scenario Along Russia's Border?

Four weeks after Austria's Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated on June 28, 1914, WW I began.

Once begun, things spun out of control with cataclysmic consequences. 

Before it ended, over 20 million died. That many or more were wounded.

A generation of young men was gone — eliminated by the ravages of war, thankfully my dad not one of the casualties.

After serving in France, he returned home unscathed, yet never spoke about what he saw firsthand.

Neither I or my younger brother pressed him to comment. Nor do I recall remarks by our mother on the misnamed war to end all wars.

November 11, 2018 marked the 100th anniversary of WW I's end – officially at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

The so-called war to end all wars was prelude for worse — mostly US-instigated — horrors to come. 

In 1928, Kellogg-Briand policy renounced aggressive wars. The UN Charter's Preamble states:

"We the Peoples of the United Nations Determined to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind…"

Both right wings of the US war party, NATO, Israel, and their imperial partners wage forever wars in multiple theaters with no prospect for resolution anywhere.

Do Biden regime hardliners have more of the same in mind?

Their recklessness risks global war with Russia and/or China — a possible thermonuclear age doomsday scenario if launched.

"Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it," Edmund Burke explained.

George Santanyana said "(t)hose who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

What happened before is repeating now in multiple US war theaters.

Will Biden regime hardliners risk global war by provocatively challenging Russia and China near their borders where Pentagon and allied forces don't belong?

Throughout most of its history, the US has been and continues to be addicted to endless preemptive wars against invented enemies.

Both wings of its war party are the leading purveyors of state-sponsored terrorism globally.

Seeking unchallenged global dominance by pressuring, bullying, bribing, or bludgeoning other nations to bend to their will, they may destroy planet earth because of their megalomaniacal rage to own it.

World's leading hot spot Ukraine is in the eye of the storm.

On Tuesday, interventionist Blinken spoke to his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kubela.

An unnamed State Department official falsely accused Russia of acting "aggressive(ly)" along Ukraine's border (sic), adding:

"Putin seems to want to prepare (Russia's) public opinion for some kind of action against Ukraine (sic)."

"And that's the sort of unprovoked activity that the Russians have been doing, raising the stakes regularly on that (sic)."

Like countless times before, US officials falsely accuse other nations of belligerent and other hostile actions by Washington — against invented enemies.

Biden regime hardliners are using Ukrainian conscripts as cannon fodder proxy forces against Donbass along Russia's border.

In Tuesday testimony before Senate Armed Services Committee members, US European Command (EUCOM) head/NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe General Tod Wolters discussed DefenderEurope 2021 war games in European Baltic states — a dress rehearsal for possible war on Russia — and related issues.

According to Ukrainian official Aleksey Arestovich, drills in areas "from the waters of the Baltic to the Black Sea (focused on) armed confrontation with Russia."

Separately on Tuesday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov slammed the deployment of large-scale numbers of Pentagon forces in the Black Sea region, saying:

Their "provocative (presence is) testing our strength, playing on our nerves. They won't succeed."

Referring to the US as an "adversary," he added that Biden regime hardliners are "doing everything to undermine Russia's position in the international arena."

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said its forces "have shown full readiness and ability to fulfill the tasks of ensuring the country's military security…in response to (provocative US-led NATO) military activity…that threatens Russia."

As directed by their US handlers, hostile actions by Ukrainian troops near Russia's border are "frightening," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed, adding:

"Many provocations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces are taking place."

Moscow wants peace, not conflict with anyone.

Biden regime hardliners risk provoking war with nonbelligerent Russia able to hit back hard against an aggressor if preeminently attacked.
