Iran's Unforgivable Offense, Its Revolutionary Success

Hegemon USA demands obedience.

Obey its will or faces its wrath.

By breaking free from its generation-long imperial grip on the country — regaining its sovereign independence, free from foreign control — Iran committed the most unforgivable offense in the eyes of hegemon USA.

The US seeks unchallenged dominance over the world community of nations, its resources and populations.

No outliers are permitted, no sovereign independent countries, no democratic ones, no fundamental freedoms imperial USA wants eliminated everywhere including at home.

Nations unwilling to sacrifice their sovereign rights to US interests are targeted for regime change.

Wars by hot and/or other means are its favored strategies for gaining and maintaining control over independent nations.

China, Russia and Iran prevent the US from achieving its hegemonic aims.

Their military strength gives the US ruling class pause about engaging them in battle.

Iran today is much more formidable militarily than when its liberating struggle ended a generation of US/UK imposed fascist rule in 1979.

From then to now, US strategy against Iran to try recolonizing the country has been endless war by other means — unlawful sanctions, cyberwar, threats, malicious propaganda, and other dirty tricks its main tactics.

For 42 years, virtually everything the US threw at Iran failed.

Looking ahead, nothing suggests that what failed up to now will work going forward.

Iran is a model for other nations wanting to be free from control by any foreign power.

Its sovereign independence isn't a bargaining chip to be sacrificed for normalized relations with the US and West.

Bending to their will assures subjugation, what no nations should tolerate.

Post-WW II, US-orchestrated new world order transformed sovereign European countries into virtual US colonies.

Their status remains unchanged today, their sovereign independence more myth than reality – serving Washington's geopolitical interests, even when harming their own.

The same is true for colonized Japan and other countries worldwide.

China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, and other nations free from US control are considered enemies for not bowing to a higher authority.

For the first time this week, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in more diplomatic words that the Kremlin is fed up with US/EU imperial arrogance and won't take it any more.

It was encouraging to hear that if EU bloc nations unjustifiably sanction Russia and hurt its economic interests over its lawful actions against fifth column traitor Navalny, Moscow will cut ties with Brussels.

If Lavrov's rhetoric reflects Kremlin policy to be enforced if necessary and not an empty threat, it'll represent a significant break from unacceptably treating Western countries as "partners" and "colleagues" which they're not.

It'll be similar to how Iran stands tall in protecting its sovereign interests against US rage to regain imperial control over the country.

Days earlier, US Professor of History David Yaghoubian told the Tehran Times the following:

"On the national level, the (1979) revolution brought together Iranians of all backgrounds to collectively oppose the (US/UK installed) Pahlavi regime and its American enablers, which rendered the Shah's military strength and US backing essentially irrelevant." 

What happened 42 years ago was "a brilliant example of indigenous popular will triumphing over authoritarianism and imperialism." 

"On a global level, the revolution's core message of Islamic unity and anti-imperialism resonated deeply outside of Iran and served as an arguably modular approach for other societies to emulate in their quest for justice, dignity, independence, and sovereignty."

It also engendered US-led Western hostility toward Iran for ending their imperial grip on the country.

Iran's revolutionary success drives US policy toward the Islamic Republic by both right wings of its war party.

It rules out normalized relations, assuring continued US efforts to recolonize Iran, loot its resources and subjugate its people.

Tehran's historic triumph over the scourge of US imperial control showed its weakness, vulnerability, and likely continued failure to reverse what Tehran's revolution achieved.

It proved that other colonized nations can break free in similar fashion.

Iran's successful 1979 revolution demonstrated how subjugated people can regain lost freedoms.

Cuba proved it in 1959. Fidel Castro liberated the country from US imperial control.

In March 2016, months before his passing in November that year, he said the following:

"We don't need the empire to give us anything." 

"Our efforts will be legal and peaceful, because our commitment is to peace and fraternity among all human beings who live on this planet" – anathema notions to the US ruling class.

Imperial echoes remain in Cuba, Guantanamo the most outrageous example.

Imperial USA is unwilling to return sovereign island territory to its rightful owner.

Guantanamo is a link in the chain of Washington's global gulag prison system — torture facilities for Muslim political prisoners.

They're modern-day versions of Devil's Island. The mid-20th century closed facility remains a permanent stain on French history.

The same goes for Washington's global gulag, the world's largest by far, operating at home and abroad.

Cubans under Fidel triumphed over the scourge of US imperialism more than 60 years ago.

Iran achieved the same success in 1979.

In stark contrast to US decline, China, Russia, Iran, Cuba and other independent countries are rising.

According to Yaghoubian, Iran's revolutionary "core message of Islamic unity and anti-imperialism resonated deeply outside of (the country) and served as an arguably modular approach for other societies to emulate in their quest for justice, dignity, independence, and sovereignty."

The US remains implacably hostile toward Iran and other independent countries for their ability to remain free by being able to triumph over its efforts to recolonize their countries.

They represent the threat of good examples to the US-dominated West.

That's why endless war by other means is waged to try transforming them into pro-Western vassal states — even though every tactic used failed with no prospect of the Biden regime faring better than its predecessors.

It's unlikely that hegemon USA in decline will ever control these nations, their resources and populations.

What failed for decades is highly unlikely to succeed ahead.

Successes of independent nations serve as encouragement for other colonized ones to break free from US control once and for all.
