No Change in Failed US Hegemonic Agenda Under Biden

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman

Instead of engaging with other countries cooperatively, the US — under both right wings of its war party — consistently goes the other way.

On Monday, that agenda was on display by interventionist Blinken and his press agent spokesman — the latter mimicking remarks of his boss.

Based on its hostile rhetoric and demands, the Biden regime continues unacceptable policies of its predecessors toward countries free from US control.

On Monday, remarks by Blinken rejected mutual cooperation with nations on the US target list for regime change in favor of continued confrontation.

His war of words showed no signs of softened policies ahead.

They included Big Lies about convicted felon/CIA asset Navalny, saying:

"Putin feels compelled to try to silence" him —a bald-faced Big Lie.

He "represent(s) many millions of Russian who want to be heard and who are fed up with the corruption and with the kleptocracy (sic)."

Fact: Self-serving Navalny was scant public support.

Fact: He was convicted of embezzling millions of dollars.

Fact: He serves US hegemonic interests and his own.

Fact: On all things "corruption and kleptocracy," the US far and away is world's leading practitioner, not Russia or other nations that reject subservience to a hegemonic power in Washington.

Blinken: "(A)s you know (sic), a chemical weapon was used to try to kill Mr. Navalny (sic)."

Fact: Not a shred of credible evidence suggests it.

Russian doctors saved his life after falling ill on a flight to Moscow.

His health problem was diagnosed as a metabolic disorder. Extensive tests found no toxins in his system.

If poisoned by a deadly nerve agent as false accusations claimed, he'd have died in minutes.

He's very much alive, well, and continuing to serve his puppet masters in Washington and London against his homeland — a villainous traitor, not a patriot.

In stark contrast to totalitarian USA on a fast track toward full-blown tyranny, Russia is governed democratically — a notion rejected by US ruling authorities at home and abroad.

On Iran, Blinken voiced no change in unacceptable demands made earlier.

Under JCPOA provisions, Iran is in compliance with the landmark nuclear deal.

In stark contrast, US withdrawal flagrantly breached international and its own constitutional law.

As long as the Biden regime continues unacceptable policies of its predecessor, it'll risk unraveling the deal altogether.

That's where things appear to be heading — to be falsely blamed on Iran.

Biden, Blinken et al have things backwards.

The US is obligated to return to compliance. Without taking this step, its scofflaw status remains unchanged.

Demands on Iran were made to be rejected, not accepted.

It suggests that the Biden regime intends abandoning the JCPOA, not the other way around.

Like virtually always before, the US falsely blames other nations for its own wrongdoing.

Blinken saying it's up to Iran to "return to compliance" puts the cart before the horse.

The obligation lies in Washington, not Tehran.

Blinken followed his unacceptable demands with long ago debunked Big Lies about Iran, saying:

Its (legitimate) missile program (for defense, not offense) must be checked, a thinly veiled demand for wanting the country weakened and more vulnerable if attacked by aggressors.

Its "destabilizing actions in the region need to be addressed (sic)."

Destabilization is what the US and its imperial partners do, not the Islamic Republic, Russia, or other countries Washington wants transformed into pro-Western vassal states.

Iran's sophisticated weapons are vital to protect the nation against hostile USA and Israel.

Its ruling authorities won't relinquish their legitimate UN Charter right of self-defense.

It's unacceptable for US and Israeli hardliners to demand it.

Blinken's Big Lies continued, saying "in recent months, Iran has lifted one restraint after another (sic)."

All Iranian actions complied with its JCPOA, NPT, and other international obligations in stark contrast to flagrant US breaches.

It's for the Biden regime to clean up its actions, not point fingers at Iran, Russia or any other countries to shift attention from endless US war on humanity.

Blinken: Iran is "closer than they've been to having the capacity on short order to produce fissile material for a nuclear weapon" — another bald-faced Big Lie.

Nothing remotely suggests it. Clear evidence proves otherwise.

Blinken's above remarks suggest no change in hostile US policies toward Iran, Russia, and other sovereign independent countries.

It's further proof that both wings of the US war party can never be trusted.

The only language they understand is toughness. Diplomatic outreach fails whenever tried.

It's futile for Iran, Russia, China, Venezuela, and other nations free from US control to try engaging with its ruling authorities cooperatively.

It's a waste of time. Nothing remotely suggests that Biden will go another way.

He's been part of the dirty system since the early 1970s.

His hegemonic agenda continues what he supported throughout his public life.

US war on humanity at home and abroad is virtually certain to continue on his watch — at home and abroad.

Most likely it'll worsen ahead, not go the other way.

That's the disturbing reality of the way things are.

There's virtually nothing positive to look forward to ahead — just the opposite.

A Final Comment

On Monday, a dubious Reuters report said the Biden regime "is weighing a wide array of ideas on how to revive the Iranian nuclear deal, including an option where both sides would take small steps short of full compliance to buy time," citing unacceptable anonymous sources.

As the saying goes: "The proof is in the pudding."

After three weeks in office, Biden regime rhetoric, actions, lack thereof, and body language suggest no change in US hardball tactics on Iran.

That's the bottom line that's likely to at least largely stick.
