Establishment Media for Biden/Harris

With few exceptions like the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, establishment media one-sidedly supported Biden/Harris over Trump throughout the campaign — for the wrong reasons, ignoring key right ones that apply to both parties.

Ignoring examples of election fraud in key battleground states — discussed in a same-day article — the anti-Trump NYT slammed him for "casting doubt on the veracity of the counts."

There's plenty of it to cast.

On Wednesday, Breitbart News reported that during Detroit absentee ballot counting, windows were blocked and observers barred to prevent transparency, adding:

Detroit police kept observers outside the vote-counting area.

"With 99 percent of the vote counted, Biden leads Trump by more than 60,000 votes, according to the Detroit News" — erasing his earlier lead suspiciously.

Trump tweeted: "Our lawyers have asked for 'meaningful access,' but what good does that do?" 

"The damage has already been done to the integrity of our system, and to the presidential election itself."

It's not the first or last time, and not just for president. 

Historical evidence shows there's nothing free, fair, and open about the US election process.

What power brokers want they get, regardless of the popular will.

Ignoring plenty of Election 2020 shenanigans, the NYT slammed Trump for suggesting it, adding:

His remarks were "one of the lowest, most disgraceful moments" of his tenure (sic).

"(T)here are no 'surprise ballot dumps' that make votes 'magically disappear (sic).' "

A same-day article explained otherwise. 

Based on what's gone on and likely continues in contested states, historians one day will likely explain that Election 2020 results were manipulated for Biden/Harris over Trump.

If final results declare them the winner — what's most likely as things now stand — it'll be correct to say this year's race for the White House was won the old-fashioned way: by stealing it.

What the Times calls "democracy" in America is governance of, by, and for the privileged few at the expense of ordinary people at home and abroad.

It's also pre-determining who wins and loses when farcical one-party state with two right wing elections are held.

Separately, the Times said Election 2000 interference didn't come from abroad. 

"It came from the president of the United States" — ignoring evidence of Dem shenanigans in key swing states.

At the same time, the Times (and other establishment media) never miss an opportunity to falsely accuse Russia of election meddling no evidence ever proved occurred.

Time and again, the US intelligence community "engage(s) in 'information warfare" against targeted nations.

It also "foster(s) confusion and distrust that impair the integrity of elections and damage the legitimacy of (targeted) governments," the Times falsely adding:

"Trump's efforts (post-election are) do(ing) Russia's work (to) delegitimize this election (sic)."

The debauched US election process long ago delegitimized itself.

WaPo embarrassed itself by falsely claiming that Election 2000 "should bolster confidence in the voting process" when polar opposite is true.

Saying "Trump has done damage (in office) that can't be forgiven" is true but omits explaining that Dems share guilt under a system too hugely debauched to fix.

Like other establishment media, it pretends that governance serving privileged interests exclusively is democratic.

WaPo editors said "election day could have been much worse."

Based on what's known so far — with likely more of the same coming in one or more undecided states — they should have denounced what looks like a pre-determined outcome if the current trend holds for Biden/Harris.

They didn't win Michigan and Wisconsin late Wednesday. 

Things were manipulated to deny Trump victories in states where he led, the same scenario perhaps true in other swing states.

Post-election remarks by Wall Street Journal editors were more measured.

Calling for vote "counting and legal challenges play out," they urged neither side to "claim premature victory."

"The presidential race isn't over" and may not be for some time while Trump's team justifiably challenges results in key battleground states.

When all is said, done, and the dust settles, Election 2020 is reminiscent of what former Chicago alderman Paddy Bowler once said about city politics.

It "ain't ready for reform." 

It's indisputably true about the hugely corrupted US political system that's way too debauched to fix.
