GOP House Members Shift Blame for Made-in-the-USA COVID-19 Onto China

The blame game is a longstanding US favorite, accusing other nations for its own wrongdoing.

Most often it's in play when either wing of the US one-party state wages war by hot or other means on nonbelligerent nations threatening no one.

It's also used whenever dark forces in Washington want blame for their own diabolical actions in any form shifted to others.

It's been very much in play since made-in-the-USA COVID-19 was reported on January 19, 2020 in Washington state.

In late December, China reported outbreaks in Wuhan. Outbreaks were first reported in Hawaii around mid-year 2019, later ones in Western Europe late last year.

Since US outbreaks began making headlines, establishment media and politicians in Washington falsely blamed China for what it had nothing to do with — the country and its people harmed by what originated in a US biolab.

A new report by GOP House Foreign Relations Committee members falsely accused China and the WHO for spreading COVID-19 worldwide.

It follows a June GOP report that falsely blamed China for unleashing COVID-19.

On September 21, a new GOP House Foreign Relations Committee report followed along the same lines as the earlier interim one. 

Rep. Michael McCaul turned truth on its head, saying the following:

"It is crystal clear that had (Beijing) been transparent, and had the head of the WHO cared more about global health than appeasing (its authorities), lives could have been spared and widespread economic devastation could have been mitigated (sic)." 

"Revealing the truth is just the first step. We must hold (China) and WHO Director General Tedros accountable for the suffering they have allowed the world to endure (sic)."

McCaul chairs a so-called China Task Force — waging war on the country by other means its mission.

Established in May, its politicized aim is to curtail China's growing global influence by hostile to its interests legislation — also by falsely blaming its authorities for unleashing COVID-19.

The earlier and new GOP reports falsely claim Beijing knew about COVID-19 outbreaks and human-to-human transmission but concealed its knowledge.

False! In short order, Chinese officials reported them to the WHO. No cover-up existed, a longstanding US specialty on numerous issues.

The GOP falsely claimed China harassed, detained, and disappeared journalists, scientists, and healthcare professionals with knowledge about COVID-19 outbreaks in the country.

It lied saying Beijing knew of its danger before informing the world community.

It falsely claimed that if China "followed international health regulations…two-thirds of cases (in the country) could have been prevented" last winter.

It falsely blamed WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus for not declaring a so-called Public Health Emergency of International Concern sooner.

It lied accusing the WHO of "complicit(y) in the spread and normalization of (Chinese) propaganda (sic)."

It turned truth on its head, saying it's "beyond doubt (sic) that (Beijing) actively engaged in a cover-up designed to obfuscate data, hide relevant public health information, and suppress doctors and journalists who attempted to warn the world (sic)," adding:

Its authorities "could have reduced the number of cases in China by up to 95 percent had it fulfilled its obligations under international law and responded to the outbreak in a manner consistent with best practices (sic)."

Since COVID-19 outbreaks became widely known, China more effectively contained them than any other major country — along with helping numerous other nations deal with the problem. 

In stark contrast, Trump regime indifference to nationwide outbreaks and ordinary people everywhere let a public health problem fester.

The US toll is far greater than anywhere else worldwide because of its internal origination and spread nationwide — along with exporting it to the world community of nations, notably to China.
