NYT Putin Bashing Rears its Ugly Head Again

Times bashing of targeted nations and their leaders features a litany of bald-faced Big Lies. 

It includes state-approved propaganda, not journalism the way it's supposed to be, what the self-styled newspaper of record long ago abandoned, notably on geopolitical issues.

On Tuesday, Times editors used the following attention-grabbing fake news headline, saying:

"Vladimir Putin Thinks He Can Get Away With Anything (sic)." A litany of bald-faced Big Lies followed.

"It is now an established fact (sic), confirmed by laboratories in Germany, France and Sweden (sic), that Alexey Navalny was poisoned with (a) novichok nerve agent (sic)."

False! Whatever happened to Navalny wasn't from novichok, what Times editors and their establishment media counterparts know but pretend otherwise.

Claims by Germany and its co-conspirators revealed no evidence backing its accusation because there's nothing legitimate to report.

Toxicologists know that exposure to a minute drop of novichok causes death in minutes.

Over a month since falling ill on a Tomsk, Russia flight to Moscow, Navalny is alive and recovering — well enough to be discharged from Berlin's Charite hospital on Wednesday.

If exposed to novichok, he'd have been dead almost straightaway, what clearly what didn't happen, his doctors expecting him to recover fully from whatever caused his illness.

Instead of explaining the above information, the Times suppressed it in its editorial and earlier reports on what happened to Navalny — fake news, nothing fit to print.

The Times compounded its Big Lie, falsely claiming Moscow used novichok "in at least one previous assassination attempt" — again no evidence cited because none exists.

Did Russia want him to perish while airborne, the Times asked? Did it want to "cover up the reason?"

Or did they want "a brutal warning of what happens to those who challenge the Kremlin?"

Exposure to novichok while airborne or anywhere else would have assured certain, rapid death, what clearly didn't happen.

If Navalny perished at home or abroad, a autopsy would have determined the cause, ruling out the notion of coverup.

As for a brutal warning, Navalny is a minor irritant with scant public support — a political nobody, artificially elevated to somebody status by Western propaganda.

If not financially and otherwise backed by the US intelligence community, he'd be an obscure figure  in Russia.

He's now better known for his illness than as a Kremlin challenger.

He "may have survived largely because of the pilot's alacrity in landing and getting him to a hospital (sic)."

Rushing him to Omsk for medical treatment indeed saved his life — for an illness unrelated to novichok

If poisoned with the deadly nerve agent, he'd have died before ever boarding his flight.

The absurd novichok in his hotel water bottle claim doesn't rise to the level of a grade C Hollywood flop, what clearly was fake news.

The Times: "Putin knows what happened, or he can find out (sic)…" 

"(I)f he continues to hide behind glaringly phony denials and ridiculous accusations, he only strengthens the suspicion that this was a deliberate, state-sanctioned hit (sic). 

"He had the greatest motive, means and opportunity (sic)."

The above rubbish would be implausible even in a Jean le Carre, James Bond or Agatha Christie thriller.

The Navalny incident is the latest example of Russia bashing fake news, nothing about it credible or convincing.

As in Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, it appears that most all European countries and complicit establishment media had a hand in concocting or at least going along with fake news about what happened to Navalny.

He was not poisoned by novichok or any other deadly nerve agent assuring death by contamination.

The NYT falsely blamed Russia for wanting "to silence a strong and effective political voice (sic)," adding:

"Even more appalling was (the) deployment of a banned chemical weapon on Russian soil against a Russian politician (sic)."

Russia eliminated its CW stockpile entirely. Not a shred of evidence suggests that it retains novichok or any other nerve agents.

Its policy is in sharp contrast to banned chemical, biological, radiological and other outlawed weapons maintained and used by the US and Israel the Times conveniently ignores.

Its editorial blaming Russia and Putin for Navalny's illness is one of many examples of state-approved propaganda it features against nations on the US target list for regime change.

It's further proof that the self-styled newspaper of record is a national disgrace.
