Made in the USA COVID-19 Outbreaks Rising Exponentially

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman)

COVID-19 most likely is a made-in-the-USA bioweapon, exported abroad and spread nationwide domestically — a diabolical scheme for greater wealth and power of a privileged few at the expense of public health and welfare.

According to Worldometers Info, COVID-19 outbreaks worldwide exceed 12 million. Deaths exceed 550,000 through July 9.

The US has around one-fourth of the world total with 3,292,257 reported outbreaks and 136,682 reported deaths — numbers rising exponentially daily.

Thailand Medical News disputes officially reported figures, days earlier saying:

"The actual figures are at least 5-fold (higher) for both infections and deaths due to underreporting and concealment by many countries," adding:

"(P)eople are still complacent…many…living in denial," ignoring the severest public health crisis of our times.

Everyone is responsible for their own well-being. Caution is the order of the day that includes avoiding large gatherings, social distancing, wearing a protective face mask in public, and following overall good health practices.

Lockdowns have done enormously more harm than good.

They wrecked the US economy, bankrupted tens of thousands of businesses, and left nearly one-third of working-age Americans unemployed.

For tens of millions, it's a longterm crisis that's exponentially expanding a permanent US underclass — what I earlier called the thirdworldizing of America, following the 2008-09 financial crisis.

The hardest of hard times in the US is combined with scourge of neoliberal harshness.

Begun during the Clinton co-presidency, it's been escalated by Bush/Cheney, Obama/Biden, and Trump.

With COVID-19 outbreaks hitting record highs in the US most days in summer heat, they could explode much high this fall and winter during the annual influenza/flu season.

The SARS-Cov-2 virus that causes Covid-19 illness is highly contagious.

The disease can cause other major illnesses in recovered patients.

On July 9, Outbreak News reported "cases of brain complications linked to COVID-19…occurring" worldwide, citing evidence compiled by University of Liverpool researchers, adding:

A study "found that strokes, delirium and other neurological complications are reported from most countries where there have been large outbreaks of the disease."

While COVID-19 is mostly associated with respiratory malfunction, patients of all ages are vulnerable to other serious illnesses.

They include strokes, embolisms, blood clotting, brain and spinal cord inflammation, nerve diseases, reduced lung capacity from scaring, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, type I diabetes, heart damage, and post-viral fatigue syndrome.

Recovered patients may also experience vision, taste, smell, and cognitive impairment, as well as other bodily dysfunctions.

While outbreak and death rates are relatively low, increased numbers of infected individuals, including many asymptomatic ones, can spread the highly infectious disease to many others they come in contact with.

The disease should not be taken lightly. While the elderly with weak immune systems are most vulnerable to infection, everyone ill from COVID-19 is at risk of developing other serious health issues.

While strokes and other neurological issues aren't commonplace, researcher Dr. Suzannah Lant stressed that  "huge numbers of COVID-19 cases globally mean the overall number of patients with neurological problems is likely to be quite large."

It includes the risk of encephalitis, inflammation and swelling of the brain.

Encephalitis Society director Dr. Ava Easton stressed the importance of "recogniz(ing) that COVID-19 can cause (the disease) and other brain problems, which often have potentially devastating, life-changing consequences for patients."

According to Global COVID-Neuro Network director Tom Solomon, reports of brain-related complications from COVID-19 are lacking in detail.

Much more needs to be known to gain a clearer understanding of the extent of the issue worldwide.

RT discussed research on neurological and neuropsychiatric illnesses reported in the UK Brain Journal of Neurology that include inflammation, delirium, nerve damage and stroke, adding:

"Doctors may be missing" the connection between coronavirus illness and brain-related disorders.

COVID-19 is the public health scourge of our time.

Along with the debilitating illness that can be fatal at times, it can lead to any one or more of an array of other major diseases that can affect young and old alike.

It's why everyone should take what's going on seriously and take great precautions to stay safe.
