Pompeo's Press Conference Features Big Lies and Deception

Contemptuous of peace, the rule of law, and ordinary people at home and abroad, Pompeo is a warmongering/serial liar menace, a figure belonging in prison, not high office.

During a Tuesday press conference, he repeated his customary litany of bald-faced Big Lies.

Like Trump and others infesting his regime, nothing Pompeo says is credible.

He lied claiming "(n)o nation gives so much to defend life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness more than we do here in the United States, and we're doing that work all over the world (sic)."

At war on humanity at home and abroad, US policy is polar opposite, posing an unprecedented threat to everyone everywhere — because of lunatics in high places like Pompeo, countless others like him in Washington.

He announced that the State Department designated ISIS leader Amir Muhammad Sa'id Abdal-Rahman al-Mawla a "global terrorist" — failing to explain that the US created and supports the group, using its fighters as imperial proxies in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere.  

At a time when Iran is challenged by spreading COVID-19 outbreaks, the Trump regime imposed new illegal sanctions on the country, the State Department saying the following:

New sanctions are meant to deprive Tehran of "critical income from its petrochemical industry and further Iran's economic and diplomatic isolation."

The Trump regime is waging economic and medical terrorism on the country and its people, aiming for maximum human suffering and deaths.

So far, Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif's call on the UN and EU to defy illegal US sanctions by providing Iran with vitally needed medicines and related medical supplies to deal with COVID-19 has fallen on deaf ears.

On Tuesday like countless times before, Pompeo falsely called Iran "the world's…leading sponsor of terror" — the designation far and away applying to the US.

Iran is the region's leading supporter of peace, stability, and mutual cooperation with other nations — polar opposite how the US, NATO, Israel, and their partners in high crimes operate.

The whole world knows that Iran's legitimate nuclear program has no military component. There's no ambiguity about.

Not according to Pompeo's Big Lie, accusing Tehran of "nuclear escalations" that don't exist — ignoring nuclear armed and dangerous Israel.

He lied calling COVID-19 that originated in the US and was exported abroad "the Wuhan virus" — falsely blaming China for outbreaks worldwide, Iran one of the hardest-hit countries.

He announced that the State Department maliciously and illegally designed Syrian Defense Minister General Ali Abdullah Ayoub a perpetrator of violence — for defending the nation against US-sponsored aggression.

Over nine years of war in Syria, using ISIS and other jihadists as proxy fighters, supported by Pentagon-led terror-bombing, it continues endlessly with no resolution ahead because both right wings of the US war party reject it — wanting the Syrian Arab Republic transformed into a US vassal state.

Pompeo lied blaming Russia for killing Turkish forces in Syria — ignoring their illegal presence in the country. The same goes for Pentagon and allied NATO troops.

Trump, Pompeo and other members of the regime's geopolitical team are psychopathological menaces — threatening nations, their ruling authorities, and ordinary people everywhere.
