Unchallenged Israeli Terror-Bombing

Terror-bombing is longstanding US, NATO, Israeli policy, what naked aggression is all about, the highest of high crimes.

They're never challenged by the world community, letting these aggressors know they can do what they please without retaliation.

For years, Israeli warplanes terror-bombed Syrian sites on the phony pretext of countering nonexistent Iranian and Hezbollah threats.

The only ones Israel faces are invented. No real ones exist, its latest aggression occurring overnight.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, "Israeli warplanes fired several missiles from the direction of both the Occupied Golan, and Marj Eyoun in Lebanon targeting the outskirts of Damascus, and immediately our air defenses foiled the attack, intercepted the hostile missiles, and downed most of them before they reached their targets," adding:

"Throughout the years of the terrorist war waged against Syria, the Syrian air defenses have confronted repeated Israeli acts of aggression as the Israeli enemy interferes whenever its tools of terrorist organizations are defeated by the Syrian Arab Army Units."

"(F)ield and intelligence reports affirm the strong ties between the terrorist organizations and the Israeli enemy and their clear coordination, in addition to finding Israeli weapons inside the dens of the terrorist organizations in many areas."

According to Jordan's Al Hadath television, overnight Israeli terror-bombing killed at least five Syrian soldiers and six Iranian military advisers in Quneitra and Kiswah, civilians also killed.

An unnamed Syrian doctor said an Israeli missile "struck a residential building and destroyed it," killing and wounding its residents.

On Tuesday, Israel claimed it intercepted four rockets allegedly fired from Syria. Throughout years of US-led aggression, Syrian forces never attacked Israel or any other country.

Like the US, Israel invents pretexts to unjustifiably justify its lawless actions, including hundreds of attacks on Syria by its own admission.

Former IDF chief General Gadi Eisenhkot earlier said "(w)e struck thousands of targets (in Syria) without claiming responsibility or asking for credit."

Time and again, Israel strikes Syria, Gaza, and conducts other hostile actions, accountability never forthcoming, its ruling regimes knowing they can do whatever they please with impunity.

Israeli military intelligence-connected DEBKA File (DF) said the Netanyahu regime "warned" Damascus through a third party not to retaliate its premeditated aggression.

DF falsely claimed Iran "is determined to draw Israel into a drawn-out war of attrition on multiple fronts" a bald-faced Big Lie.

At the request of Damascus, Iranian military advisors in Syria are aiding government forces combat US, NATO, Israeli supported ISIS and other terrorists.

On Wednesday, Russia's Foreign Ministry tepidly criticized Israel's latest aggression against Syria, saying:

"(T)he intensity of Israeli rocket and bomb attacks on Syrian territory ha(s) increased sharply...This development evokes the most serious concern and opposition in Moscow," adding: 

"We consider it critically important to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic and other states in the region."

"Israel's actions only add to tensions and strength the potential for conflict around Syria, and run counter to efforts to normalize the situation, achieve stability in Syria, and see a political settlement reached in this country."

Separately, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said overnight Israeli strikes on Syria are "contrary to the principles of international law and leads to an escalation of tensions." 

Weak-kneed remarks like the above fall on deaf ears Washington, other NATO capitals, and Israel, telling their ruling regimes that Moscow will do nothing to challenge their aggression.

According to AMN News, Israel's overnight strikes destroyed "an entire (Syrian military) air defense storage" area, citing an unnamed military source in the country, adding:

Israeli warplanes in occupied Golan and Lebanese airspace fired 18 air-to-surface missiles at sites in southern and southwestern Damascus.

Syria's air defense failed to stop 11 from striking their intended targets. Why isn't Syria using Russian S-300s against Israeli warplanes, targeting them in cross-border airspace to thwart their attacks? 

Why hasn't Moscow aided Damascus more effectively to counter Israeli aggression?

Why does world community see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil about US, NATO, and Israeli aggression?

As long as their ruling regimes know they can do what they please unaccountably, they'll continue taking full advantage — at the expense of world peace and stability.
