Establishment Media Iran Bashing

Establishment media consistently vilify and lie about sovereign independent nations on the US target list for regime change.

Iran is a key target, notably because it stands in the way of US/Israeli regional dominance, as well as Washington wanting control over its world's fourth largest oil reserves.

Media reports about the country feature state-approved managed news misinformation and disinformation — the way it's been since its 1979 liberation from US-installed fascist tyranny, regaining its sovereign independence lost to the CIA's 1953 coup.

In response to the Trump regime's illegal withdrawal from the JCPOA and Europe's breach of obligations under the deal, Tehran announced four pullbacks  permitted under the deal's Articles 26 and 36 because other signatories breached their mandated commitments, the latest legitimate step back announced Tuesday.

Supporting US economic terrorism on Iran, the NYT unjustifiably slammed the country's latest announced rollback of its voluntary JCPOA commitments, saying:

"Iran announced plans on Wednesday to reactivate its most sensitive nuclear production site, a deep, underground uranium enrichment center, in a step that dismantles more of the last major restrictions on the country under the 2015 nuclear deal," adding:

It's "part of the carefully calibrated strategy Iran is pursuing to pressure the United States and its allies…"

Fact: The Trump regime illegally abandoned the JCPOA based on Big Lies. Britain, France, Germany, and Brussels breached their mandated obligations — supporting US economic terrorism on Iran without admitting it.

Fact: Tehran fully complies with its NPT, IAEA, JCPOA obligations — facts the Times and other establishment media ignore.

Fact: Iran's legitimate nuclear activities have no military component. Its leadership abhors nuclear weapons, wanting them eliminated everywhere.

Fact: The Islamic Republic is a good neighbor, threatening the national security of NO other nations — a US, NATO, Israeli speciality, ignored by establishment media.

The Times: Iran's voluntary JCPOA rollbacks "create the condition (for its) ability to develop the material for a bomb in a year."

Fact: Like virtually always about nations on the US target list for regime change, the Times distorts reality, reinventing events on the ground.

Fact: Four legitimate Iranian JCPOA rollbacks have nothing to do with advancing nuclear weapons development — a US/Israeli specialty the Times ignores.

Fact: No "potential for an Iranian 'breakout' " exists.

The Times: "Enrichment moves Iran closer to being able to build a nuclear weapon" — a bald-faced Big Lie. No inching closer exists to developing what Iran abhors and officially banned.

Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif explained the obvious solution the Times, other establishment media, US and EU officials ignore or downplay, tweeting:

"Our response to US #EconomicTerrorism & blackmail is opposite of what 

@realDonaldTrump was led to believe.

Our 4th step to suspend a #JCPOA provision is foreseen in Para 36 as remedy to US+E3 violations.

Easy solution for E3/EU: Abide by your obligations & we'll reverse course."

The US is a lost cause. If Europe ended its colonial subservience to US interests, regained its sovereign independence, and observed its mandated JCPOA obligations, the current unacceptable status quo would be resolved easily and quickly.

The neocon/CIA house organ Washington Post falsely accused Iran of another "step away from the" JCPOA nuclear deal — failing to explain the legitimacy of its actions.

The broadsheet and likeminded ones support what the Trump regime calls its "maximum pressure campaign" on Iran — economic terrorism on the country and its people left unexplained.

In September, Iran was enriching uranium slightly above the JCPOA agreed on 3.67% level.

It'll likely be raised higher but kept well below the 90% level required for nuclear weapons production.

The Wall Street Journal called Iran's much ado about nothing Tuesday announcement a "major nuclear step away from its commitments under the 2015 nuclear deal…" It was nothing of the sort.

Years of false claims about an Iranian nuclear threat that never existed was and continues to be red herring cover for unjustifiably justifying long sought US regime change.

Both right wings of its one-party state want an Israeli regional rival eliminated, tyrannical pro-Western puppet rule in the country restored, and control gained over Iran's highly valued hydrocarbon resources.

Dirty hard truths about US imperial aims aren't pretty, a worldwide scourge supported by establishment media — operating a a collective mouthpiece for wealth, power and privilege at the expense of the public welfare.
