Haaretz columnist Amos Harel operates as an IDF mouthpiece. The broadsheet's editors publish his rubbish to their shame.

They should focus on the scourge of Zionist fascism in Israel, an apartheid state mistreating Palestinians as maliciously as Nazis persecuted Jews.

Rense.com published a long ago letter to the NYT by Albert Einstein.

Written in December 1948, months after the Jewish state's creation by mass slaughter and dispossession of hundreds of thousands of indigenous Palestinians from their homeland, the letter protested against terrorist thug Menachem Begin's visit to the US, a future Israeli prime minister.

Signed by over two dozen distinguished Jewish figures, including Hannah Arendt and Seymour Melman along with Einstein, it highlighted fascist political figures in Israel similar to Nazi Germany.

Einstein called for informing the US public about "fascist elements in Israel," adding: "(T)hey speak of freedom, democracy and anti-imperialism, whereas until recently they openly preached the doctrine of the fascist state."

"Within the Jewish community they have preached an admixture of ultranationalism, religious mysticism, and racial superiority." 

"Like other fascist parties, they have been used to break strikes, and have themselves pressed for the destruction of free trade unions. In their stead they have proposed corporate unions on the Italian fascist model."

"By gangster methods, beatings, window-smashing, and wide-spread robberies…terrorists (who became future prime ministers) intimidated the population and exacted a heavy tribute."

Einstein and other notable signatories expressed outrage over support for Jewish thugs by US Zionist leaders.

What happened in the run-up to the Jewish state's creation and Israel's early years paled in comparison to how it operates today — notably against Palestinians and its own Arab citizens considered untermenschen undesirables, also against Jewish critics of its wrongdoing within and outside the country. 

Harel's pieces read like IDF press releases, his latest one headlined: "Iranian Generals in Iraq, Hezbollah Thugs in Lebanon: Tehran Demonstrates How to Snuff Out Dissent," saying:

Iranian general Qasem Soleimani head of the IRGC's Quds Force got the "Iraqis (to position) snipers (against) protesters" during recent demonstrations.

Not a shred of credible evidence supports his claim, nothing presented in his propaganda piece.

During Lebanese protests for social justice, Harel falsely accused Hezbollah of operating the same way.

With no evidence backing his claims because none exists, he falsely accused "Hezbollah (of) sen(ding) thugs on motorcycles, armed with truncheons, to battle protesters and scare them off."

Harel and likeminded Israeli propagandists are silent about Jewish state high crimes, including politicized suffocation of two million Gazans, IDF snipers killing or seriously wounding nonviolent demonstrators during weekly Great March of Return protests, mass arrests, torture, land theft, targeted assassinations, and naked aggression at Israel's discretion.

The Jewish state is permanently at war against long-suffering Palestinians. It attacks neighboring Syria and Lebanon at its discretion.

It supports ISIS and likeminded terrorist groups, along with allying with Washington's imperial agenda and high crimes against humanity.

In contrast, throughout its 40-year history, the Islamic Republic of Iran never attacked another country, threatening none now.

Yet the mythical claim of its leadership wanting to destroy Israel persists, manufacturing things never said by its ruling authorities.

Hezbollah as well operates nonbelligerently — polar opposite longstanding US-led Western/Israeli aggression.

On October 30, Global Research (GR) republished an article first posted on April 5 headlined:

"Secret Document Reveals Plans for Civil War in Lebanon, Israeli False Flags, and Invasion," saying the following:

"During his visit with US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, Lebanese President Michel Aoun reportedly received a US-Israeli document detailing plans for creating a civil war in Lebanon with covert false flag operations and possible Israeli invasion."

"Although the source of the document is Israeli and created in partnership with Washington, no one knows who presented it to Aoun."

"The document details American plans to splinter the Lebanese Internal Security Forces, a domestic institution separate from the Lebanese Army." 

"The plans involve Washington investing 200 million dollars into the Internal Security Forces (ISF) under the guise of keeping the peace but with the covert goal of creating sectarian conflict against Hezbollah with 2.5 million specifically dedicated to this purpose."

"The document states the ultimate goal is to destabilize the country by creating a civil war in Lebanon which will 'help Israel on the international scene.' " 

"The United States and Israel plan to accomplish this by supporting 'democratic forces,' sounding remarkably similar to the same strategy used in Syria, Libya, Venezuela, and elsewhere."

GR said it could not confirm the authenticity of the document cited above. It very much conforms to how the US, NATO, Israel, and their imperial allies operate in the Middle East and elsewhere.

As events continue unfolding in Beirut and elsewhere in Lebanon, what's going on will be clearer, including whether dark US/Israeli forces are behind them.

Western and Israeli establishment media conceal vital information like the above.

Harel and likeminded propagandists consistently blame victims of US-led Western/Israeli aggression for high crimes committed against them.
