Trump Impeachment Inquiry Scam, Part II

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman)

What's just cause to hold Trump accountable for is ignored by Dems, GOP aspirants for his office, the courts, and establishment media.

The Trump impeachment inquiry is a scam, a second attempt to weaken him ahead of 2020 presidential and congressional elections — Ukrainegate likely to fail like Russiagate. Neither scheme holds up in the cold light of day.

What's planned by undemocratic Dems intends no scrutiny of his regime's high crimes of war and against humanity.

They'll be nothing on Nuremberg-level crimes against Afghans, Syrians, Iraqis, Yemenis, Libyans, Somalis, Iranians, Venezuelans, Cubans, and Nicaraguans.

No outrage in Washington will be raised over his deal of the century/no-peace/peace plan, demanding unconditional Palestinian surrender to outrageous US/Israeli demands — so unacceptable it's largely unreleased?

Hearings won't touch on exploitation of ordinary Americans to benefit privileged ones.

His ecocidal agenda will be ignored, permitting US-controlled territory to be plundered for profit — no matter the cost to clean air, soil and water.

He reneged on making worker friendly trade deals, pushing for secretive corporate coup d'etat ones instead — supported by Dems and establishment media.

The same goes for his trade war with China that has nothing to do with trade, everything to do with wanting the country marginalized, weakened, and isolated, its economic, industrial, technological, and military development undermined.

His economic terrorism on Iran, Venezuela, Russia, China, Syria, and other countries is considered sound policymaking by both right wings of the US war party — not an impeachable offense.

So is his war on heroic Chelsea Manning for invoking her constitutional right to stay silent, refusing to testify in kangaroo court hearings against Julian Assange.

Where's the outrage by Dems and establishment media. The same goes for failing to support Julian Assange — wrongfully indicted by the Trump regime for truth-telling investigative journalism the way it should be.

Peace, equity, justice, public health and welfare, along with beneficial social change are off the table in the US — supported by both right wings of the one-party state.

Why won't Trump be held accountable for all the above abuses? Because undemocratic Dems and monied interests both war party wings support share guilt. So do establishment media for backing what demands condemnation.

Dems want Trump held accountable for fake crimes, not real ones.

His war on unwanted aliens of the wrong race, ethnicity, and/or religion, as well as Muslims from the wrong countries doesn't matter.

As president, he continued the massive transfer of wealth from ordinary Americans to privileged ones and corporate predators — considered business as usual in the US, the policy ongoing for decades, notably since the neoliberal 90s.

He wants what remains of social justice eviscerated to pay for the great December 2017 tax cut for the rich heist, big cuts in Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security planned if given a second term — not a problem for most Dems.

Notably he supports healthcare, a fundamental human right, based on the ability to pay, part of his hostile to human life and welfare agenda, a policy similar to Obama's, supported by Dems.

Earlier I called Trump America's racist-in-chief, heading a white supremacist regime, infested with hawkish Ziofascist ideologues.

Instead of fulfilling campaign and inaugural address promises to ordinary Americans, he proved he's just another dirty politician – operating extrajudicially at home and abroad, contemptuous of peace, equity and justice.

Injustice in America is widespread, politicized, and bipartisan — people of color, Muslims from the wrong countries, the poor and disadvantaged abused and otherwise mistreated.

I fiercely oppose Trump, revile what he stands for, holding him in contempt for the enormous harm his regime inflicted on countless millions of victims at home and abroad.

Obama/Biden, Bush/Cheney, and the Clinton co-presidency operated the same way. Where's the outrage?

Yet I support judicial fairness for everyone, no matter what they're accused of.

Even war criminals multiple times over like Trump and his predecessors deserve fair treatment, not congressional and establishment media lynching.

Not in the US, a warrior state, an undemocratic state, a police state, an increasingly totalitarian state unsafe and unfit to live in.
