Trump Regime Big Lies About Iran and Syria

Longstanding US plans call for transforming Syria, Iran, and other sovereign independent countries into vassal states.

So far, US war on Iran continues by other means, short of attacking the country militarily. The threat of going this far remains.

On Tuesday, acting US war secretary Patrick Shanahan misled reporters ahead of his closed door remarks to congressional members, claiming nonexistent intelligence about an Iranian threat to US regional personnel and interests, adding:

"(W)e've put on hold the potential for attacks on Americans (sic)." He stopped short of providing evidence of an Iranian threat because there is none — nor has there ever been throughout the Islamic Republic's history.

Asked what he meant by putting on hold the potential for attacks, Shanahan lied claiming "we're in a period where the threat remains high (sic). And our job is to make sure that there is no miscalculation by the Iranians (sic)."

On Monday, Trump downplayed the notion about an Iranian threat, saying "(w)e have no indication that anything's happened…or will happen."

Asked about DJT's remark, Shanahan discounted it, repeating his Big Lie, insisting "(t)here is risk, and we are managing that risk" when no "risk" to US interests exists.

After seeing so-called intelligence on Iran, Dems said nothing in it suggests an Iranian threat. Claims otherwise are and remain fabricated.

Shanahan cut his remarks short, but added that "(w)e're not about going to war" on Iran. Trump regime actions are "about deterrence," he claimed — against a nonexistent threat, not by the Islamic Republic or other countries.

Beefing up the Pentagon's Middle East presence has nothing to do with "deterrence," everything to do with provocative saber-rattling, threatening war on Iran whether or not things go this far.

Separately on Tuesday, State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus targeted Syria with her hostile remarks. 

She lied claiming "we continue to see signs that (Damascus) may be renewing its use of chemical weapons (sic), including an alleged chlorine attack in northwest Syria on the morning of May 19, 2019," adding:

The alleged incident "is part of a violent campaign by (Syria) that violates a ceasefire that has protected several million civilians in the greater Idlib area (sic)." 

Fact: Not a shred of credible evidence suggests Syrian forces ever used CWs throughout years of war. Indisputable evidence proves US backed terrorists used them numerous times.

Fact: Neither Syrian or Russian forces violated agreed on ceasefires, what the US, its imperial partners, and terrorist foot soldiers do repeatedly.

The briefing by Ortagus was a litany of bald-faced Big Lies, following in the footsteps of her discredited predecessor, Heather Nauert.

She lied claiming Syrian forces bombed "health facilities, schools, residences, and" refugee camps — US/NATO/Israeli/Turkish/Saudi/UAE specialties, not how Syria or Russia operate.

Ortagus defended al-Qaeda connected White Helmets, directly involved in atrocities committed by US supported jihadists, including CW attacks on civilians.

She slammed Russia for its justifiable criticism of the group, calling it "disinformation" — a bald-faced Big Lie.

She turned truth on its head claiming Assad's responsibility for "almost all verified chemical weapons attacks that have taken place in Syria" — another bald-faced Big Lie.

She cited the OPCW as her source, a notorious US imperial tool she failed to explain. The chemical watchdog long ago lost credibility, breaching its mandate time and again, willfully putting out falsified information.

Ortagus: Assad's "culpability in horrific chemical weapons attacks is undeniable." What's "undeniable" is her turning truth on its head in all her disinformation reports.

On Tuesday, Russian center for Syrian reconciliation's General Viktor Kupchishin issued the following alert:

US supported terrorists "plan to stage (a CW attack) in the village of Jarjanaz, as well as in the town of Saraqib, where a group of children and adults — refugees from the southern provinces of Syria — have already been gathered. Similar preparations are underway in the west of Aleppo province," adding:

Al-Nusra terrorists in Idlib province's deescalation zone have significant amounts of toxins they fill munitions with for attacks on civilians to be falsely blamed on Syrian forces.

Last Friday, Russia's Foreign Ministry warned of an imminent CW false flag planned by al-Nusra terrorists and White Helmets.

According to the Study of Democracy director Maxim Grigoriev, at least 40 White Helmets members admitted staging CW attacks, falsely blamed on Syrian forces — based on interviews with these individuals, explaining "methods (they) used…to fake scenes."

Grigoriev slammed the OPCW for "deliberately fail(ing) to conduct an impartial investigation" into the fake April 7, 2018 Douma CW incident, reporting falsified information instead.

White Helmets operate exclusively in areas controlled by US supported terrorists, aiding and abetting their atrocities — what US officials and establishment media suppress, abandoning truth-telling altogether on geopolitical issues, notably when the US goes to war, supporting its aggression instead of denouncing it.
