Anti-Venezuela Propaganda Rages

Without establishment media support, US wars of aggression, color revolutions, and old-fashioned coups like what's ongoing against Venezuela would be foiled before getting out of the starting gate.

Major media serving as imperial press agents sustain diabolical plots against peace, equity and justice - propaganda drowning out hard truths.

Before the television age, journalist/author AJ Liebling said "(t)he press is free only to those who one one." He also said "people everywhere confuse what they read in newspapers with news." He likely had the NYT in mind most of all.

Disinformation, Big Lies, and fake news rage daily against the Bolivarian Republic, the yellowist of yellow journalism, substituting for what journalism is supposed to be. Below is some of the rubbish masquerading as news and information:

NYT: "(A)t least 40 hospital patients died" during the blackout (sic)…Newborn babies died in idle incubators (sic)…(H)ospitals operate with no water (sic)." 

"Children are dying of hunger (sic)…Hunger gripped the nation for years (sic)…(R)ecord numbers of children (suffer from) severe malnutrition (sic)."

"In the past six years, citizens have increasingly been left to fend for themselves as President Nicolas Maduro's government has proved unable to provide even the most basic services like food, health care, electricity and, soon, water (sic)."

"Hospitals across the country collapsed (sic)…"(P)eople (are) collecting water from polluted rivers…foreshadowing epidemics (sic)…If hunger doesn't kill you, crime will (sic)."

The "government is bankrupt (and) deligitimized (sic)…(T)here is little (it) can do for its people (sic)."

All of the above are bald-faced Big Lies from the self-styled newspaper of record - proliferating propaganda, suppressing hard truths about Venezuela and on other major issues.

The neocon/CIA house organ Washington Post: "Maduro…consolidate(d) power (by arrest(ing) and intimidat(ing) rivals, (sic) took power away from the opposition-controlled National Assembly (sic), and established (sic) a constituent assembly stacked with allies (sic) to rewrite the country's constitution."

"(T)he international community largely viewed (his May 2018 reelection) as a sham (sic)…Guaido… is the legitimate president under the country's constitution (sic)…Maduro has been blocking most aid from coming into Venezuela (sic)."

The above rubbish was likely scripted at CIA headquarters, WaPo publishing the litany of Big Lies.

The Wall Street Journal called Maduro "Putin's man in Caracas (sic)," adding the decline in Venezuelan oil production is "a massive windfall for Russia (sic)."

"Putin is now moving his little green men to keep dictator Nicolás Maduro in power (sic)…This Russian military provocation is in America's backyard (sic)…Trump needs to decide if he is going to let Mr. Putin get away with it (sic)."

"Maduro's "own people and the free world are against him (sic)." Most Venezuelans, world community nations, the UN, and free people everywhere want US dirty hands kept off Venezuela.

The WSJ is part of the anti-Venezuela bullhorn propaganda machine. So is UK owned, controlled, and operated BBC. On Sunday, it lied claiming "not even graves are safe in Venezuela (sic)," falsely claiming thieves are looting them.

AP News: "Venezuela is…falling apart…the economy…unraveling (sic). Food is scarce (sic). Crime is rampant (sic). Hospitals barely work (sic). And people are fighting desperately just to survive from day to day (sic)."

Despite hard times because of US war on the country by other means, Venezuelans go about their daily lives normally. Claims about people struggling to survive are pure rubbish.

Reuters: The Trump regime called for a Security Council session on Venezuela this Wednesday, seeking "United Nations support for its backing of opposition leader Juan Guaido as the rightful president of Venezuela (sic)" it won't get - the session to be for anti-Bolivarian propaganda on the world stage.

Al Jazeera reported on Saturday demonstrations in Venezuela - by Maduro and Guaido. It failed to explained huge numbers turning out to hear Venezuela's legitimate president address, imposter Guaido drawing smaller crowds, according to observers on the ground, showing he's increasingly reviled.

US National Public Radio repeats other establishment media Big Lies, falsely calling Maduro "increasingly authoritarian (sic), imprisoning political rivals (sic)…cracking down on protesters (sic) (and) cut(ting) off access for journalists (sic)."

It lied claiming 10% of the population left the country's population fled. It lied called "streets of Caracas…empty."

It lied saying "Maduro forc(ed) Cuban doctors to use access to medicine as a way to gain votes for Maduro right before an election."

No wonder NPR is called National Pentagon or Petroleum Radio by its critics, substituting state-approved propaganda for real news, information and analysis.

All of the above disinformation reports ignore the Trump regime's brazen coup plot to eliminate the hemisphere's preeminent social democracy - including by flagrantly illegal sanctions war and sabotage of the country's electricity grid.

Instead of condemning its lawless actions, establishment media actively support it, making them complicit accessaries before and after the fact.
