Khashoggi's Body Believed Dissolved in Hydrofluoric Acid

According to Turkish police, traces of hydrofluoric acid and other chemicals were found in a well at the Saudi's consul general home in Istanbul.

Turkey's prosecutor believes his remains were completely dissolved - after he was strangled to death inside the consulate on October 2.

According to Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons, "(w)e know that on the night of October 16 to 17, when the Turkish investigators were working inside the residence and wanted to gain full access to the garden and the well shaft, they were not given permission…but were able to briefly take some samples from it with rods from the top of it," adding:

"Those sample have been processed, and they include proof that there had been hydrofluoric and other chemicals" inside the consulate's well.

Other samples from the sewage and drainage system near the consulate indicated the same evidence.

On November 1, Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS) hosted US evangelical Christian Israeli supporters in Riyadh.

They also met with Saudi foreign minister Adel al-Jubeir, Saudi ambassador to Washington prince Khalid bin Salman, and secretary-general of the Muslim World League Mohammed al-Issa.

During discussions, MBS promised to get to the bottom of Khashoggi's murder and punish the perpetrators - ignoring his direct responsibility for what happened.

On November 2, close Erdogan aide Yasin Aktay said "(t)he reason (Saudis) dismembered Khashoggi's body was to dissolve his remains more easily."

"Now we see that they did not only dismember his body but also vaporized it" in acid.

Days earlier, the Turkish Sabah broadsheet said Riyadh sent an 11-member "cover-up team" to Istanbul on October 11, the week after Khashoggi's murder.

Erdogan said what happened "came from the highest levels of the Saudi government" - meaning MBS, directly ordering Khashoggi's elimination, dispatching a hit squad to kill and remove all traces of his remains.

According to Amnesty International (AI) on Wednesday, 12 imprisoned Saudi Shias face "imminent" execution.

In 2016, they were arrested and falsely charged with spying for Iran, AI saying their death sentence followed a "grossly unfair mass trial."

The rubber-stamp regime supreme court upheld the sentence. Their execution will follow after king Salman signs their death sentence - a mere formality. They're walking dead already.

AI's Middle East and North Africa director Heba Morayef condemned the kingdom, saying it's "one of the world's most prolific executioners and regularly uses the death penalty as a political tool to crush dissent from the country's Shia minority, demonstrating its total contempt for the value of human life."

Around three dozen Shia political prisoners await execution, including four minors - most often carried out by barbaric public beheadings.

According to a UN report, anyone "peacefully exercis(ing) their right to free expression (in the kingdom is) systematically persecuted…"

"Many languish in prison for years. Others have been executed after blatant miscarriages of justice."

The world community largely turns a blind eye to the most egregious Saudi abuses. They include tolerating no internal dissent or criticism, support for ISIS and likeminded jihadists, along with partnering with Washington's wars of aggression.
