Russia Had Nothing to Do with Downing MH17

Moscow is targeted with endless Big Lies, demonizing the country unjustly, Russiaphobia raging in America, Britain, other Western countries and putschist-run Ukraine, a fascist police state in Europe's heartland.

So-called Joint Investigation Team (JIT) member countries Australia and the Netherlands falsely blamed Russia for downing of Malaysian Airlines MH17 on July 17, 2014 in eastern Ukraine airspace.

US-installed Kiev putschists were responsible for what happened, an incident surely orchestrated by Washington to demonize Russia unjustly.

A joint Australia/Netherlands statement said both countries "hold Russia responsible for its part in the downing of flight MH17." 

"The government took a decision on this matter, on the proposal of (Dutch) Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stef Blok. Our two countries have informed Russia of their decision."

They're "taking the next step by formally holding Russia accountable," other JIT member countries Belgium, Malaysia, and Ukraine going along with the injustice, shifting blame from the real perpetrators.

According to the JIT, "the BUK-TELAR (missile) that was used to down MH17, originates from the 53rd Anti Aircraft Missile brigade (hereinafter 53rd brigade), a unit of the Russian army from Kursk in the Russian Federation" - a bald-faced lie.

On Friday, Russia's Defense Ministry responded to the false accusation, saying the missile fragment used to blame Moscow wasn't in its military's arsenal, its production discontinued years earlier, more advanced systems replacing it.

"The serial number unambiguously indicates that the engine was manufactured in the Soviet Union back in 1986." By 2011, missiles manufactured in that year "were withdrawn from service, written off or scrapped," adding:

"The sole reason why the JIT stays quiet about the origin of the missile engine manufactured in 1986 is the missile more than likely belonged to the Ukrainian armed forces."

Clearly Russia had nothing to do with downing MH17, nor did Donbass freedom fighters.

Cui bono always matters. Moscow and breakaway Donbass fighters, unwilling to live under fascist rule, had nothing to gain from the incident, plenty to lose.

Washington, Kiev and their Russophobic allies benefit greatly by falsely pointing fingers the wrong way.

The incident was a classic false flag, surely orchestrated by Washington, Kiev putschists used to down MH17 in Ukrainian airspace at a time regime forces waging war on Donbass were being soundly beaten.

Nearly four years later, the Big Lie persists about Russian involvement in an incident it had nothing to do with - no possible reason to want a commercial airliner downed anywhere.
