Iran and Israel Confronting Each Other Militarily?

Media scoundrels consistently blame victims for US-led/Israeli aggression against them.

They one-sidedly support their actions no matter how lawless and destructive, notably the NYT, a mouthpiece for wealth, power and influence since its mid-19th century founding.

The self-styled newspaper of record falsely called Israel's latest aggression on multiple Syrian sites a cross-border exchange between the IDF and Iranian forces.

No Iranian attacks on Israeli sites occurred. Syrian forces responded to Israeli aggression by launching a reported 20 rockets at occupied Golan targets.

The Times: "Israel's defense minister said that Israeli warplanes had destroyed 'nearly all' of Iran's military infrastructure in Syria after Iran launched 20 rockets at Israeli-held territory, none reaching their targets" - a bald-faced lie.

Iranian military advisors operate from Syrian bases, none of its own. Israel struck multiple Syrian military sites. It's unclear how much damage was caused. 

Half or more of IDF rockets and missiles were destroyed before reaching targets. No Iranian munitions were launched cross-border. It was nothing of the kind.

The incident was premeditated Israeli aggression, occurring while Netanyahu was in Moscow, shamefully invited by Putin, attending Russia's Great Patriotic War triumph commemoration.

The Times falsely claimed Iran favors weak Syrian governance, saying it "would allow Iran-backed militias free reign" - another bald-faced lie.

Iran and Syria are longstanding allies, notably in combatting ISIS and other terrorists supported by Washington and Israel. The Times pretends US forces are battling the scourge it created, funds, arms, trains and uses as proxy fighters. 

Citing an IDF spokesman's Big Lie, the Times turned truth on its head claiming "Iranian forces fired about 20 Grad and Fajr-5 rockets at the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights, targeting forward positions of the Israeli military…(t)he barrage was launched under the command of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps."

"(T)he rocket attack was a significant escalation in Iran's maneuvers in the Middle East."

Iran's only "maneuvers" involve protecting its national security, along with combating US/NATO/Israeli-supported terrorists in Syria.

Israel lied saying it intends no further escalation, lots more planned, likely much more intense than so far, heading for possible full-scale war together with Washington, perhaps other NATO countries involved.

The Times: "Iran has taken advantage of the chaos in Syria to build a substantial military infrastructure there." 

"It has built and trained large militias with thousands of fighters and sent advisers from its Revolutionary Guards Corps to Syrian military bases."

Iran wants regional peace and stability, involved in Syria to combat terrorism, concerned about protecting its own security. 

It didn't send "thousands of fighters" to engage in combat operations, as the Times suggested.

US/Israeli rage for regional hegemony risks full-scale war for  regime change in Syria and Iran - a far more dangerous development if events unfold this way.
