Sacked FBI Director to Teach Ethics Course

The FBI is a modern-day  Gestapo, America's secret police, an enemy of the public, not its protector.

The bureau under sacked director James Comey whitewashed the investigation into Hillary's illegal personal server use for classified State Department business.

Comey changed the FBI's account of her unlawful behavior from "grossly negligent" to "extremely careless," an attempt to exonerate her wrongdoing.

Instead of doing his job, he's complicit in her criminality. He's named along with now former Deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in the Russiagate FISA memo, its contents likely to be revealed in days.

He'll teach a course on ethical leadership at the College of William & Mary this fall, the school announced, Comey saying:

"I am thrilled to have the chance to engage with William & Mary students about a vital topic - ethical leadership," adding:

"Ethical leaders lead by seeing above the short term, above the urgent or the partisan, and with a higher loyalty to lasting values, most importantly to the truth."

"Building and maintaining that kind of leadership, in both the private sector and government, is the challenge of our time."

Comey disgraced the office he held, mocking legal, moral and ethical standards. He was part of the sham Russiagate investigation.

On September 4, 2013, he was sworn in as FBI director, saying:

"I, James B. Comey, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…"

Throughout his tenure, he violated core constitutional principles, instead of supporting and defending them. 

He remains unaccountable for serious wrongdoing - like the entire bipartisan criminal class in Washington, contemptuous of the rule of law.

William & Mary students would be wise to avoid his course - and stay clear of him altogether.

Law Professor Jonathan Turley called Comey's appointment to teach ethics "obviously controversial," adding:

"There is nothing in (his) past that would have made (him) an obvious choice for his expertise that clearly encompasses national security, surveillance, privacy, and other area of constitutional and criminal law."  

"Curriculum should not be a vehicle for public relations…(H)is record at the FBI would make for a compelling case study of what not to do as an ethical leader in government."

Before Trump sacked him, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein called for his dismissal for "serious mistakes" - code language for wrongdoing Rosenstein's accused of in the Russiagate FISA memo.

Justice Department prosecutors said Comey "violated his obligation to 'preserve, protect and defend' the traditions of the Department and the FBI."

Rosenstein is culpable of the same offense in the Justice Department. Neither official admits mistakes or wrongdoing.

Comey was supposed to find Trump administration leakers. He became one himself. He illegally removed memos he wrote about the Russiagate investigation and his relationship with Trump - FBI material, not his personal journal.

Under bureau rules, he was prohibited from removing the material. He gave them to Columbia University Professor Daniel Richman to leak to the media, including classified information.

He remains unaccountable for unethical and illegal behavior - in Washington where he'll teach, splendid qualifications for interfacing with young impressionable university students.

Maybe he'll instruct them on how to break the law and remain unaccountable - then be asked to teach a course on ethics, conduct he abandoned entirely as FBI director.
