US Calls for SC Meeting to Bash Iran

Illegally meddling in the internal affairs of other countries is a US specialty, including using the UN to serve its interests.

Its secretary general is installed to fulfill this objective, current incumbent Antonio Guterres a compliant US puppet, breaching his oath of office and UN Charter principles.

US neocon UN envoy Nikki Haley disgraces the office she holds. She called for convening a special Security Council session on Iran - to be held Friday at 3:00PM New York time.

The SC "will discuss the troubling and dangerous situation in Iran," she roared," adding:

'The world has witnessed the horrors that have taken place in Syria, that began (by) denying its people's right to peacefully protest." 

"We must not let that happen in Iran. This is a matter of fundamental human rights for the Iranian people, but it is also a matter of international peace and security." 

"It will be telling if any country tries to deny the Security Council from even having this discussion, just as (Iran) tries to deny its own people the ability to have their voices heard."

Fact: "Horrors" in Iran were made in the USA, complicit with its rogue allies.

Fact: Syria was invaded by US created and supported terrorists. There's nothing civil about nearly seven years of naked aggression against the country and its beleaguered people - an imperial plot to replace its legitimate government with pro-Western puppet rule.

Fact: Foreign interference is responsible for days of protests and violence in Iran, an attempted color revolution - likely CIA and Mossad fingerprints all over what's now mostly over, more turbulence perhaps coming ahead in similar or different form.

Fact: Iranians are free to express their views without government interference. The country's media are open, free, and fair, unlike their controlled Western counterparts.

I've been on Iranian television many times, speaking as freely as I write on many topics.

Haley and other bipartisan neocons infesting Washington threaten world peace. Iran is a prime target for regime change, for its sovereign independence and opposition to American imperial ruthlessness, US/Israeli aggression on the country an ominous possibility.

In response to Haley calling for a special SC session on Iran, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov shot back, calling the idea "harmful and destructive," adding:

"Iran's domestic affairs have nothing to do with the United Nations Security Council's role." Moscow "see no role" for the world body "in this issue."

"We warn the US against attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

Friday's SC session will serve only as a platform for Haley and US imperial allies to bash Iran - nothing else.

No hostile resolutions will be adopted, Russian and Chinese veto power assuring it. 

Ahead of Friday's SC session, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif blasted Trump, saying he has "an odd way of showing 'such respect' for Iranians," criticizing them for belonging to a "terrorist nation," banning them from entry into America, "helping them" by punishing sanctions.

Separately, Iran's Attorney General Mohammad Jafar Montazeri named former CIA counterterrorism chief/current head of Langley's Iran Mission Center, Michael D'Andrea, as the "mastermind" behind days of violent protests.

He blamed Washington, Israel and Saudi Arabia for days of turmoil, saying street protests were instigated under the titles, "no to price hikes," "no to paying bills," a "Libya (type) plan" to destabilize Iran's government, aiming to oust it.

According to Montazeri, part of the plan involves infiltrating ISIS terrorists into Iran, calling the scheme "calculated and pre-planned."

He said social media platforms Telegram and Instagram were used to incite protests.

On Thursday, Iran's Intelligence Ministry announced the dismantling of an armed terrorist cell in Piranshahr, a city in West Azarbaijan province, explaining foreign terrorists entered Iran, aiming to escalate violence instigated last week.

The ministry said AK-47s, hand grenades, military uniforms, equipment, and instructions on causing violence and turmoil were seized, adding three other terrorist groups were dismantled earlier in western Iran.

Plots to destabilize and topple governments take careful, detailed planning - the CIA and Mossad long-experienced in orchestrating and executing them.

They're the likely sinister forces behind turmoil and violence in Iran, along with Saudi Arabia - rogue state partners in ruthlessness.
